Achievement motivation of competitive football players in the category U19-U21

Title: Achievement motivation of competitive football players in the category U19-U21. Objectives: The aim of this paper was to examine the relationships between social environment, performance motivation and motivational consequences according to our theoretical framework. Using descriptive, correlational and regression analyses, we wanted to investigate the impact of this on the achievement of footballers in the U19-U21 age group. Methods: The research population consisted of 75 respondents, namely semi-professional and professional football players in the U19-U21 category from three football clubs (FK Dukla Praha, SK Dynamo České Budějovice and Aritma Praha). The study was conducted using a quantitative questionnaire, which consisted of six standardized questionnaires in their Czech version. The proximal social environment, the motivational climate, was analyzed through two measurement tools, namely the Coach - Created Empowering and Disempowering Motivational Climate Questionnaire (Appleton et al., 2015) and the Youth Sport Environment Questionnaire (Eys et al., 2009). Quality Management in an Selected Social Organization

The bachelor's thesis is focused on ways of managing and ensuring quality at a selected organization in the social field, specifically in a home for the elderly. In the Czech Republic, the population is aging, human life expectancy is increasing, and the proportion of seniors is increasing. For these reasons, ever higher demands are placed on the provision of quality social services for the elderly. The quality of home for seniors is primarily determined by the satisfaction of home users, but also by many other tools. Despite the fact that ensuring the quality of service provision is very exacting, there are several ways for employees to achieve quality services. It is up to the workers to combine the provision of quality services and at the same time create such conditions that will enable seniors to remain as self-sufficient as possible. The theoretical part defined the basic concepts which are closely related to the topic of the work. In the practical part, the main research question concerning management methods and quality assurance in the May Home for the Elderly in České Budějovice was answered. Furthermore, constituent research questions concerning Quality Standards in social services introduced in the given social facility were answered. The results were obtained by a qualitative research strategy, a method of secondary data analysis and questioning. The chosen technique was semi-structured interviews, which were conducted with the director and social worker of the May Home for the Elderly in České Budějovice. The results of the research represent mainly the diversity of tools and methods for managing and ensuring the quality of services in a specific home for the elderly. These methods start with certified concepts and end with often neglected supervision and professional education and training for employees. The results of the practical part also represent a developed SWOT analysis and analysis of Quality Standards of Social Services. These analyses were compared and then the proposed recommendations and feedback for specific organizations emerged.

Emotional consequences of achievement motivation among figure skaters in the middle school age

Title of the bachelor thesis: Emotional consequences of achievement motivation among figure skaters in the middle school age Goals: The aim of this work was to find out what are the emotional consequences of achievement motivation. Using the questionnaire method, we examined the level of self- determination of figure skaters in the age 11-12, how they perceive the sport and what are their reasons to do figure skating. We were interested in whether these reasons come more from internal or external motivation, or whether they feel amotivated about the sport activity. We were also interested in the goal orientation of figure skaters at this age, which may be more focused on the ego, ie based more on external motives, or may be more focused on the task, ie based on internal motives. Another point of our interest was the motivational climate. Motivational climate could be created by a coach and it could influence the figure skaters in other ways. Last but not least, the aim of this work was to find out how all these factors are related to the negative phenomena of the achievement motivation, such as burnout or dropout from sport. Speech therapy for seniors at residental care in the Hradec Kralove region

This diploma thesis is focused on providing speech therapy intervention for seniors in residential facilities. The aim of this special pedagogical work is to show the problems in the communication of seniors and a possible support in the home for the elderly. The thesis has two parts. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. In this part, secondary communication disorders observed among adults, selected diseases related to old age, the definition of old age and residential services for seniors are described. In the empirical part, the research, case studies and the results are obtained. The research is qualitative. The main goal was to analyze providing speech therapy intervention in the home for the elderly. Partial goals were to find out whether there would be a progress in the senior communication based on speech therapy intervention and to find out whether the support of home workers in cooperation with an expert can help in this regard as well. This thesis analyzes the motivation program of Nu Skin company, which serves to increase the motivation of distributors. The aim is to draft recommendations for improvement motivation program for distributors of Nu Skin. The analysis is car-ried out using a questionnaire survey and subsequent statistical evaluating.
