Representtion of basic isometries through square ornaments
Roubíček, Filip
The poster deals with basic isometries: point reflection, rotation and translation as composition of two line reflections. It presents some activities that support observation and intuitive cognition of isometries. Square ornaments were designed by composing mosaics, cutting folder paper, drawing, printing.
Geometrical imagination as a part of mathematical literacy
Roubíček, Filip
The paper deals with geometrical imagination as ability to interpret geometrical content, evoke images and manipulate with them. It describes approaches to teaching of geometry at primary school (natural geometry, principles of didactical structure of geometry) and activities for development geometrical imagination of pupils.
O jednom geometrickém prostředí podporujícím přirozenou differenciaci
Macháčková, Jana ; Roubíček, Filip
The poster deals with development of geometry thinging at primary school level and motivation of pupils via natural differentiation. The learning environment that is based on describing and drawing a way in a plan is illustrated.
Příležitost k rozvoji jazykových struktur v matematickém vzdělávání
Roubíček, Filip
The paper deals with communication as an element of activities in mathematics classroom and differences between pupil's and teacher's mathematical language that cause educational obstacles. The use of a specific representational environment for language development in everyday teaching is illustrated.
Přirozená diferenciace v matematice
Dolk, M. ; Hošpesová, A. ; Krauthausen, G. ; Roubíček, Filip ; Scherer, P. ; Selle, A. ; Swoboda, E. ; Tichá, Marie
Coping with heterogeneity and motivation of all students independent from their capabilities, is one of the great challenges in primary school, especially for teaching and learning mathematics. In the project NaDiMa several substantial learning environments enabling "natural differentiation" were designed, tested in the classroom and will be analysed.
Representational envinonments for plane transformations
Roubíček, Filip
The paper includes some illustrations of representational environments suitable for teaching of plane transformations in lower secondary school, namely reflection, rotation, and translation. It deals with properties of transformations, composition of reflections, and in particular various forms of modelling: reflecting, pinking, tracing, printing, and patterning.
Five subjects for the teaching of algebra
Roubíček, Filip
The paper deals with the problem of the teaching of algebra at elementary school. It includes the description of five methods aimed at developing algebraic skills and based on well-known party games: algebraic domino, pexeso, lotto, quartet and equational marathon.
Geometrical modelling
Roubíček, Filip
The paper deals with the problem of representation of geometrical objects by means of material models. It includes the description of two methods of modelling in planimetry: geometry of folding paper and geometrical puzzles.
Různé formy modelování jako podpora komunikace mezi učitelem a žákem
Roubíček, Filip
The poster includes some illustrations of representational environments investigated in the frame of mathematics classes at an elementary school, for example usage of various types of puzzles, geometry of folded sheet of paper and geometry using strings.
Některé aspekty komunikace ve vyučování matematice - sémiotický pohled
Roubíček, Filip
The paper deals with problems in communication between the teacher and the pupil which can be investigated by way of semiotic analysis. Some causes of these problems are described, for example different mental representations or communication contexts, nonaccepting of conventional writing forms and another.
