VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION IN THE REGION OF SUŠICE - AGRICULTURAL AND INDUSTRIAL EDUCATION IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE 20TH CENTURY

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of vocational education in the Sušice region at the end of the 19th century and in the first half of the 20th century. The thesis tries to find answers to the following questions: what kind of vocational schools were located in the Sušice region, what were their beginnings and development, who attended them, who supported them, what kind of education did the teachers achieve and what was the success rate of the students. The bachelor thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part creates a more comprehensive picture of the development of vocational education in the Czech lands in the context of Central Europe, it also describes the development of industry and deals with Jewish issues and Nazi occupation of the region. The practical part focuses on the Vocational Industrial School in Sušice and the Vocational School of Agriculture in Sušice.
