Lorman, Jaroslav ; Rethmann, Albert-Peter (advisor) ; Ovečka, Libor (referee) ; Šrajer, Jindřich (referee)
Etika mezi zjevením a rozumem. Analýza morálně teologického konceptu Augustina Zippeho (1746/7-1816) Předložená práce představuje pokus přiblížit se jedné části morálně-teologické tradice. Práce obsahuje pět kapitol (kromě úvodu a závěru). První dvě kapitoly se zabývají otázkami metody a stavem bádání o českém církevním osvícenství. Třetí pak představuje rekonstruovanou biografii Augustina Zippeho v kontextu jeho díla a doby. Čtvrtou kapitolu tvoří vybraná témata (liturgie, tolerance, křesťanské manželství aj.) z morálně-teologických děl Augustina Zippeho, i z děl dalších josefínských morálních teologů (Ignaz von Fabiani, Franz Fritsch, Joseph Lauber a Wenzel Schanza).

RESUME Not every child can enjoy a happy childhood in an environment that provides for delivering of his/her essentials of life, and thus allows for complex development of his/her personality. Not only in the Czech Republic, but in the whole world, there are still children that suffer from physical and psychic neglect and abuse, as well as sexual exploitation; very often, the abuser is a family member or someone known to the child. The most serious form of maltreatment caused to the child in today's world is the sexual abuse for financial or other economic reasons, i.e. the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC). This involves trafficking, prostitution, sex tourism, pornography, incest, rape and sexual harassment. The submitted thesis discusses commercial sexual exploitation of children within the framework of theological ethics. The phenomenon is described and examined here and related challenges and suggestions are defined with respect to the individual as well as social ethics. The problem is partly discussed also in context of the legal ethics, because the manifestations of CSEC are considered vice crimes or sexual assaults. The first, more general, chapter of the thesis is focused on the definition of the Child Abuse and Neglect Syndrome (CAN) and the process of recognizing the phenomenon in...

OF THESIS ŠNÝDLOVÁ Alena Dying, death, euthenasia. Our age has brought advances in medicine resulting in extended human life expectancy. This process, however, has forgotten that a natural part of human existence is dying and death. Such a taboo in society means that people are not usually prepared for it. It is therefore hard to die and dificult to live with the certanty of death in its last weeks and days. The process of dying and its circumstances is briefly described to convince readers that one human can help another in difficult life situations and it is better to be prepared for this. This thesis also deals with the differing views of christians and atheists. These views often distinguish the approach to death of the attendant professionals. Ferenčiková, Daniela ; Rethmann, Albert-Peter (advisor) ; Ovečka, Libor (referee)
Ethical questions in the discussion about the euthanasia A birth, a life and a death - all these phenomena present an universal and unnecassary experience of mankind and each individual. Death, then an individual extinction of organism afflicts the human not only in a biological area, but also in a psychological, social and spiritual one. It was self-evident in the past that all the people died at home among their relatives. Nowadays this image has changed. Most of the people die in the hospitals or in the mental institutions. Some people has changed also the understanding of meaning of an incurable illness and their attitude to the suffering and pain. There are people who offer the euthanasia for the incurably ill and their relatives as a solution of their heavy suffering. Nowadays the euthanasia serves as a possibility to end an incurable illness, moreover, it's a part of legislation in some countries where is allowed by law. The aim of this thesis is exactly to focus on the ethical questions in the connection within the discussion about the euthanasia. TO LOVE LIFE IS A TRUE DIVINE SERVICE - Analysis of selected moral-theological treatises from the period of Joseph II
Lorman, Jaroslav ; Rethmann, Albert-Peter (advisor) ; Ovečka, Libor (referee)
Loving Life Is the True Divine Service - Analysis of Selected Morally Theological Treatises from the Period of Joseph II Jaroslav Lorman The work is focused on morally theological treatises from the period of Joseph II (1780-1790). From the point of view of Christian ethics, this period can be seen as the culmination of its gradual achievement of independence of dogmatic theology happening since the sixteenth century. The analysis is mainly based on three works: Augustin Zippe, Anleitung zur christlichen Sittenlehre der Vernunft und der Offenbarung (Prague 1778) and Von der moralischen Bildung angehender Geistlichen in Generalseminario zu Prag (Prague 1784) and Ignaz Fabiani, Grundzüge der kristlichen Sittenlehre (Vienna 1789). The main goal was to verify the existence of so called Catholic Enlightenment in the Czech environment. If it were shown that the Enlightenment authors, in our case the authors from the Joseph II period, did not act against the Church and religion and in fact they even identified with it, this would be an important argument against the old cliché that the fundamental elements of the Age of Enlightenment are antireligiosness and anticlericalism. We could even open another field of study - to what extent the Czech environment was influenced by that of German. The already...
