Personal perspectives of the citizens and their relationship to social policy
Rendlová, Eliška
The paper is based on a comparison of the attitudes of the Czech, Hungarian and Polish publics. Into their conceptions of social and life certainties is projected the continuing process of adaptation of the citizens to new existential conditions, their considerable degree of uncertainty and difficulty in anticipating the future. These attitudes influence the overall evaluation of social policy as well as specific measures. Social policy ought to be conceived and implemented in due regard to these contexts.
