Performances of Aspirants for the Studies at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport in the Athletic Part of the Entrance Exam (100 m and 800 m Run Women, 100 m and 1500 m Run Men)

Title: Performances of aspirants for the studies at the Faculty of physical education and sport (Charles University in Prague) in the athletic part of the entrance exam (100 m and 800 m run women, 100 m a 1500 m run men) Objective of the thesis: The main objective of the thesis was to compare average final time results of aspirants for studies at the Faculty ofphysical education and sport during the entrance examinations in 1995, 2000 and 2005. The women's and men's results were compared as well as the results of aspirants for one-subject and two-subject studies. Methodics of the thesis: Conceming the methodics of the thesis we focused on all aspirants who passed the entrance examination at a proper term and to whom the time of both disciplines was registered. We divided these aspirants into two groups according to their subject of studies they applied for. We monitored their performance in both types ofthe run. Then we compared the fmal average times achieved by particular groups. Results: The results survey the performance conceming the run of aspirants for studies at the Faculty ofphysical education and sport. 4
