Development of ultra lightweight concretes

This bachelor thesis deals with the technology of production of ultralight concretes using direct lighten cementing compound and at the same time indirect lighten using lightweight aggregate. Further work deals with the choice of suitable raw materials for these concretes. The practical part consists of a proposal of several different recipes, experimental verification and by comparing their properties in a fresh or hardened state.

Kajkavian dialect in contemporary Croatian prose

Bachelor thesis deals with the occurrence and use of dialectal elements in contemporary Croatian prose. First, the typical features of the Kajkavian dialect are introduced, then its division and individual characteristics typical for the presumed dialects in the chosen works. The selected texts and their features are compared with typical elements of particular Kajkavian dialects which are used. The work combines linguistic and literary point of view. Using a linguistic approach, it determines the individual dialects and their features, the literary one assesses the role of the outlined features in the speeches of the characters and what the dialects in the selected works are used for. The aim of the work was to determine the form of the Kajkavian dialects in selected texts, how consistent the authors are in the use of dialectal features, or for what reasons they are not consisent. Another aim was to assess the extent to which the language of a work containing a dialect can reflect the state of the spoken dialect and the role of the author's stylization of the narrative. The final part of the thesis deals with the question of the reasons why contemporary authors use Kajkavian, even though it is not a national idiom.
