Remedial measures in the protection of environment
Málek, Jiří ; Derlich, Stanislav (advisor) ; Pokorný, Jiří (referee)
In the field of environmental law, some people consider the most important provisions enforcing environmental standards. However, not only in law, it is necessary to think about situations in which the subjects do not respect the law and adjust their responsibility in the event of violation of their duties. Without adjusting the remedial measures, the restoration would only be a moral obligation. Under such circumstances, the measures would be mostly financed by the state and there would not be any possibility of regression to the originator. That is the reason, why effective remedial measures, which can be characterized as a frontier institute between prevention and sanctioning, are needed. At present, remedies can be imposed through a relatively diverse range of legislation, of which the most important should be Act No. 167/2008 Coll., On Prevention of Environmental Damage and its Remedy. Remedial measures are, however, usually imposed on the basis of constituent laws for which the imposition of sanctions and corrective measures is not linked to the occurrence of environmental damage but to a specific breach of the obligations laid down. The environmental authorities are thus proceeding also because even before the effectiveness of Act No. 167/2008 Coll. there was a relatively high level of...

In my thesis is also focused on the beginning of museums in Czechia and it also mentions about the Czech Náprstek's Industrial Museum, which was a competition and a model of the German Museum in Liberec.

Czechs and Germans in the Czech Budejovice in the 2nd half of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century
Soušek, Josef ; Foltýn, Dušan (advisor) ; Pokorný, Jiří (referee)
This thesis focuses on the relationships between Czechs and Germans in České Budějovice during the second half of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century. The main emphasis is on the influence the church had on the relationships between the two nations in the time and place mentioned above, as they were described in the collected sources and historic literature. This thesis concentrates mainly on these topics: religious life, community life and education. The conclusion of my work is the discovery that the church and the individual congregations did not participate in the national struggle in the town. They only tried to work to the benefit of the town and its citizens. In case they set up organizations such as schools, clubs, hospitals, it was because they were missing in the town or because they did not exist in sufficient numbers for the ever-evolving town of České Budějovice. It did not matter whether it was a school for Czech or German children, for example. Also, the nationality of the members of the church and congregations themselves was not necessarily decisive. Although the knowledge of both Czech and German language in the town was an important prerequisite. More significant problems arose only with the Redemptorist college, which became unintentionally by the...

Legal aspects of Energy business Summary The aim of this master thesis is to give an overview of the development of the energy market. The first big changes occurred in 1990s when it became necessary to make energy sector owned by the state more efficient. The main reasons for its restructuring were an incompatible infrastructure, standardised services and high prices. State with the lack of financial resources leave the monopolistic system and open the market for new potential investors. Some another changes are connected with the accession to the European Union. The process of liberalization was used like an instrument for changes which impose requirements not only on market participants but also on state, which is obliged to provide an independent supervisor. Currently the main legislative source is an act No. 436/2008 Coll., Energy Act. It provides information about basic rights and obligations of the market participants, their relationships and the ways of regulations of their activities. The energy sector is regulated on national level. But recently an Energy union has been formed on international level. To ensure energy independence is the main goal of the Energy union. Member states will have to abandon their authority and give way to this newly established community. This master thesis analyse the...
