Sound to MIDI conversion

This thesis deal with possibilities of conversion simple musical signal to MIDI format. It contains brief introduction into chosen parts of MIDI standard which are important for this theme. Further there are examined characteristic attributes of sound which are needed to detect from musical signal to be written in SMF or which affects detection of useful attributes. There is given an account of algorithm for conversion implemented in Matlab.

Goal of this thesis is design and implementation of application for editing multimedia content used for entertaining fans during sport events on stadiums, which will provide easy to use and intuitive graphical user interface. The theoretical part contains description of multimedia data from the perspective of this thesis, namely statical images and video. It provides the overview of multimedia applications, ranging from low end video editors to hi end media control centers. At last the closer look into sport stadiums environment is given in perspective of used digital display devices and multimedia content.

Motivation of employees in ČSAD Vsetín Inc.

This Diploma thesis deals with the analysis of instruments of stimulation and motivation of employees in the transport company ČSAD Vsetín Inc. The theoretical part describes the principles and processes of personal management in the form of human resource management, further it features basic concepts of motivation, main motivation theories, factors affecting satisfaction of employees and instruments of their stimulation to desired work output. The practical part presents the company ČSAD Vsetín Inc. and analyses individual instruments of stimulation of employees which simultaneously compares with the accepted theory, clarifies advantages of chosen procedures, eventually suggests other solutions.
