Study of MnOx catalytic properties by EQCM
Šubarda, Jiří ; Pléha, David (referee) ; Novák, Vítězslav (advisor)
Fuel cell´s have to function and be exploited for the purposes to dawdler were to be designed, behind achievement their requisite feature. To achievement these needs is then need use fit chemical accelerator about specific features and ensure his fit incorporated to the article. In those work in the concrete will treat of recognition feature chemical accelerator lay on in form inks obtained from powdery matters, like chemical accelerator will on used electrode aggradation MnOx. Recognition feature chemical accelerator will conducted by the help of method EQCM (Electrochemical Quartz Crystal Microbalance).
Nanofibrous Separators for Lithium-Ion Batteries
Pléha, David ; Míka, Martin (referee) ; Janderka,, Pavel (referee) ; Novák, Vítězslav (advisor)
Nanofibrous separators use in lithium-ion batteries brings many advantages. In contrast to contemporary used commercial separators, nanofibrous ones exhibit higher temperature resistance, ionic conductivity and higher electrolyte uptake. Better ionic conductivity is ensured by porous structure and large specific surface. Fibers creates channels for the ionic species motion. Amorphous texture of nanofibers allows quick lithium ionic species motion within the polymeric matrix of separator. Furthermore, these separators exhibit higher volume of uptaken electrolyte. Further advantage of electrospinned nanofibrous separators are both high porosity and chemical stability.
Study of manganeese oxides properties by the EQCM method
Pléha, David ; Špičák, Petr (referee) ; Novák, Vítězslav (advisor)
The present work deals with the use of manganese oxide as a catalyst for positive electrode of fuel cells. The theoretical part is to analyze the problem of fuel cells, focusing on lowtemperature fuel cells. Are discussed and the methods of measurement and evaluation of properties of manganese oxide layer. The practical part deals with doping electrolytic manganese dioxide salts of divalent metals and monitoring their behavior in the cyclic voltammetry by the EQCM method.
The LiOh influence in alkaline accumulators
Prchal, Jiří ; Čech, Ondřej (referee) ; Pléha, David (advisor)
The deal of this thesis is study of the influence of LiOH added to electrolyte on Ni-Cd batteries. In theoretical part are analyzed properties of Ni-Cd accumulators in strong alkaline surroundings, especially with emphasis on structure changing of NiOH2 and NiOOH. In the second part of theoretical are also described methods for depositing Ni layers. In practical part electro-chemical spectrum and mass changing on Quartz crystal microbalance are measured by cyclic voltammetry method during charge/discharge process. The process of cation integration to the positive electrode structure in KOH, NaOH and CsOH electrolyte including related structural changes are observed.
Comparison of different photovoltaic panels in CR
Červinka, Pavel ; Stojan, Radek (referee) ; Pléha, David (advisor)
This term paper deals about history, principle and use of photovoltaic panel. It describes their stucture and constantly improving properties of these panels. It outlines their gradual generational evolution from beginning to present. Then it describes the various systems involved on – grid and off – grid. It also describes and compares the photovoltaic panels and inverters from different global manufacturer. The end of this work deals about conditions of photovoltaic in the Czech republic and about Hady photovoltaic incubator, which belongs to the company Energ servis a.s. It presents a comparison of different local and the analysis of the impact of shading for the achievement of the photovoltaic panel. It makes mathematic models for calculation of the spacing range and calculation the power loss in a specific shade.
The influence of iron on nickel accumulator charging
Mičák, Tomáš ; Čech, Ondřej (referee) ; Pléha, David (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is dealing with a problematics of iron influence on charging of accumulator, more precisely on its cathode. The theory describes comparision of an accumulators at our market, important properties of Ni-Cd accumulators, their function principle, events happening during charge-discharge cycles of Ni-Cd cells and measuring method that will be used to verify of the iron influence. The practical part deals with the influence of iron on the development of oxygen during process of battery charging, on how iron affects the potential shift of oxygen gassing and how temperature affects this event.
Face Recognition
Pléha, David ; Honec, Jozef (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
Face detection in the complex image is the part of the key steps in creation of the face recognition software. In this work an algorithm, by which means it is possible to detect parts of human skin in the image with a complex background as well as the methods of the detected image filtration, is described and specified. The algorithm appears from the value of the human skin colour model, which is the main basis for the process of identification. In this work also the issue regarding the face part determination within the detected image by various hypotheses on human face is examined.
The LiOh influence in alkaline accumulators
Marušarz, Anton ; Čech, Ondřej (referee) ; Pléha, David (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor´s thesis project is to explain the influence of lithium hydroxide on nickel accumulators, on their positive electrode. This project describes several different kinds of avaliable accumulators, mainly nickel-cadmium accumulators. In the next couple of chapters I will be describing their positive electrode, cyclic voltammetry and influences of different additaments on positive electrode. Last part is dedicated to experiments of the cyclic voltammetry with different solutions and tempratures. Comparing these characteristics and evaluating influences of different variables on these measurments is main goal of this thesis.
