Crystallization of coating systems based on epoxy resins.
Seidlová, Michaela ; Dohnálek,, Pavel (referee) ; Petránek, Vít (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (referee) ; Bydžovský, Jiří (advisor)
Crystallisation of epoxy resins based on bisphenol A and bisphenol F is the natural property of these oligomers. However, manufacturers of paints and other systems based on these epoxy resins, strive to slow down the crystallisation process as much as possible, thereby prolonging the shelf life and improving the competitiveness of their products. The main aim of the thesis is generalisation of the factors influencing the crystallisation process of epoxy resins based on bisphenol A and bisphenol F, verifying new approaches to the possibility of influencing the crystallisation process and determining the possibility of using a certain degree of epoxy resins crystallinity based on bisphenol A and bisphenol F in the preparation and production of epoxy resinbased coating systems.
Mechanical and Chemical Surface Endurance of polymers materials, testing and posibilities fro improvements
Vaníček, Štěpán ; Seidlová, Michaela (referee) ; Petránek, Vít (advisor)
Mechanical and chemical resistant multilayer polymeric floors are the most important characteristics of classification in the evaluation of surface and texture. Mentioned as organic binders which are used for the realization of the matrix. Further discussion on how to get fillers forming the supporting folder. Created a summary of the key test of mechanical and chemical characteristics according to current standards. The theoretical part is concluded with a reflection on the possibilities of improving the surface resistance of synthetic floors. The practical part was focused on testing the strength, resistance to impact and adhesion to the base layer. Finally, the overall evaluation of the test results in accordance with the theoretical part.

Influence of material base of coating systems onto wood durability
Bednářová, Ilona ; Petránek, Vít (referee) ; Vaněrek, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the influence of the base material of the coating systems for wood durability when we exposed them to external conditions. The theoretical part is devoted to wood durability and weather resistance with a detailed description of the tests the durability of coating systems. A substantial part of the theory is devoted to description binder component of the coating material. In the practical part was performed the experiment, which examined the influence of the thickness of the coating system, the type of coating material (paint or lasure) as well as the type of binder (water dispersion with an alkyd or acrylic resin, respectively solution coating system with the alkyd resin). All coating systems were exposed to natural and artificial durability tests. The criterions for evaluation were chosen differences of colours.
Polymer protective systems for concrete floors
Novotná, Adéla ; Vyhnánek, Miroslav (referee) ; Petránek, Vít (advisor)
The thesis is addressing the testing of protective polymer layers, which are used mainly for industrial floors. A summary table of standards is presented, dividing the test carried out on the binders, fillers, fresh mixture and polymerized material. Non standardize tests are described in detail in a very similar way as it is performed by the Institute of Technology of Building Materials and Components. The second part of my thesis is devoted to testing of the reference material and material filled with raw substances. Based on recommendations of Lena Chemical Company, filler – ground windscreen glass will be used. On this type of mixture selected set of tests needed for construction and technical certificates was performed.
New Possibilities of Utilization of Silicate Secondary Raw Materials in Multi-layer Floor Systems
Novotná, Adéla ; Skuda,, Ladislav (referee) ; Petránek, Vít (advisor)
The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the multi-layer polymer flooring systems green products, where main focus is placed on recycled material fillers. The practical part is devoted to reference materials practical testing and also to testing of materials filled by secondary materials silicates with the conclusive tests support. The economic part should point out the advantages of the secondary raw materials use in terms of the final product lower price.
Development of multilayer polymer floor systems
Tesař, Filip ; Vyhnánek, Miroslav (referee) ; Petránek, Vít (advisor)
Multilayer polymer flooring systems belongs to widespread materials for industrial constructions and also for public constructions. These are mostly two-components polymeric materials based on epoxy. The main aim of my thesis is to make list of requirements for multilayer polymer flooring system and utilization of waste materials as fillers in polymer epoxy. Then use this knowledge for development of multilayer polymer flooring system and propose the new recipe and primary test´s for this material.
Development of Resistant Coating Systems Based on Polymer Binders
Voráčová, Veronika ; Vyhnánek, Miroslav (referee) ; Petránek, Vít (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to propose the use of waste materials as filler for the selected coating systems used for chemical protection of concrete surfaces. The used filler could not affect the existing binder of the coating system. Research was conducted using two materials N141 and N 121. The waste material was chosen by his chemical and physical properties. Between suitable materials belongs slag, fly ash, foundry sand and glass waste. The selection based on Lena Chemical s.r.o companies request was selected glass waste. The practical part includes examination as fillers, and the corresponding tests for coating systems with pre-used filler. Finally, the assessment of the suitability of the materials used.
Exploitation of Infrared Spectroscopy for Determination of Polymer Admixtures in Cement Composites
Novotný, David ; Hodná, Jana (referee) ; Petránek, Vít (advisor)
In the thesis deals with the possibilities of determining the amount of polymer additives FTIR. Are described in detail various polymeric ingredients which are used in concrete mixtures. Then thoroughly discuss the use of recyclable polymer additives polyvinylbutyral (PVB), its production, the primary use, recycling and subsequent use. Next, I will discuss methods for determining the amount of polymer in the substance. In the experimental part were blended with several samples with different percentage for each polymer. Where we conducted appropriate tests and assessments, and individual samples are briefly described, evaluated and compared.
Research and development grout and anchor masses
Žlebek, Tomáš ; Petránek, Vít (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
Modern anchor and grout systems are now at a high level and they are used in many branches of industry. This thesis evaluates the current state of anchoring and grouting systems, research of currently used material basis, testing procedures and up to date legislation for these types of materials. Above all, the thesis is focused on the chemical types of anchor and grout materials for utilization in industrial production facilities with exposure to extreme loads, a new methodology for testing of these types of materials and input raw materials will be proposed. The final part of this thesis is a proposal of new optimum formulas for anchoring and grouting materials for utilization in industrial production facilities with exposure to extreme loads including the description of their applications.
