Catalan identity and nationalism from the perspective of Catalan and Spanish political parties between 2014 and 2017

The period from 2014 to 2017 was marked in Catalonia by many events and tensions surrounding independence issues. This work "Catalan identity and nationalism from the perspective of Catalan and Spanish political parties between 2014 and 2017" aims to find out how identity themes are captured in the programs of political parties across the entire political spectrum in Catalonia, i. e. in the programs of both national and Catalan parties, and whether the processing of these themes leads to a clear interpretation of Catalan identity or problematizes it. The work is based on the interpretation of the nation according to Anthony D. Smith and the national identity derived from it, expanded with linguistic themes and cultural peculiarities of the community of nations according to Eric J. Hobsbawm. The application of thematic analysis on the political proclamations were identified based on the formulation of these parties' national-identity perception of Catalonia. The basic source are the election programs of the Catalan political parties. Democracy, Indigenous People and Pachamama: Analysis of the discourses of Rafael Correa and Lenín Moreno between 2007 and 2018

The objective of the thesis "Democracy, Indigenous People and Pachamama: Analysis of the discourses of Rafael Correa and Lenín Moreno between 2007 and 2021" is to study and analyze speeches by both presidents of the Republic of Ecuador to perform a comparative analysis, and find similarities and differences between the political discourse of both presidents, both substantive and rhetorical. The analyzed areas/fields are: conceptualization of democracy, role of the political opposition, role of the indigenous population and environmental discourse. In the case of Rafael Correa, the significant speeches in the period from 2007 to 2016 are analyzed; in the case of Lenín Moreno, his speeches between 2017 and 2021. The speeches are analyzed mainly from the rhetorical-argumentative point of view, especially the ideological characteristics of the speeches of both presidents between 2007 and 2021. In the practical part, discourse analysis is used and the analyzed excerpts from the speeches are interpreted. Analysis of the Czech and Spanish Legal Terminology in Right of Heritage

This bachelor work analyses the Czech and Spanish special terminology in the sphere of the inheritance law. The objective of this work is to outline the law frame of the hereditary right both in the Czech republic and Spain, setting out comparison of modifications in both countries and paying attention to the most important differences, both in the law content and the language aspect. The practical part is aimed at the lexical analysis of the special terminology in the sphere of hereditary right and problems of juridical terminology. For this purpose was a zero hypothesis stated consisting of partial hypotheses which are verified in the conclusion of the practical part and the results are interpreted. The practical goal is in the application of realia in the sphere of hereditary right on language comparison and its achievement. The work contains a summary in Spanish and a bilingual glossary.
