Physiotherapy of children with lung diseases.

Karolína Švrčková Title: Physiotherapy of children with lung disease Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to create a targeted therapeutic program for school- age children diagnosed with bronchial asthma and to evaluate the change of the examined parameters (FEV1, dyspnoea, muscle imbalance, resting breathing wave, diaphragm test, five-minute running test with a focus on post-exercise dyspnoea, viscerovertebral manifestations) after four weeks of movement in two groups (one focused on respiratory physiotherapy, the other on respiratory physiotherapy enriched with yoga exercise), both diagnosed with bronchial asthma. Methods: This work is a pilot experimental study. Two groups of probands (test and control, each with eight probands) were created. The test group underwent respiratory physiotherapy and yoga exercise specifically designed for diagnosis bronchial asthma. The control group underwent only respiratory physiotherapy. Both groups had an intervention of four weeks. Evaluation of motor skills level in children of the primary education of selected Prague elementary schools

Title: Evaluation of motor skills level in children of the primary education of selected Prague elementary schools Objectives: The main aim of the study was to evaluate current level of motor skills of primary education children of selected Prague elementary schools using standardized assessment battery MABC-2. A partial goal of the study was to compare the level achieved in the MABC-2 test with the data acquired through the questionnaire survey regarding physical activities of participating responders. (n = 134). Methods: A total number of 134 responders (60 girls and 74 boys) aged from 7 to 12 years from two selected Prague elementary schools participated in the research. The level of motor skills of all participants was examined using a standardized assessment battery MABC- 2. The testing was carried out in the form of field research during physical education lessons at selected schools. A questionnaire designed specifically for the purpose of this study, subsequently completed by legal representatives of the responders, was used for the orientation examination of the physical behaviour of the participants. Title: The case study of the physiotherapeutic care of a patient with total endoprothesis of a knee joint Aim: The purpose of this bachelor thesis is the processing of a case study of the physiotherapeutic care of a patient after total knee replacement during an internship in the ÚVN hospital. Summary: This thesis is divided into general and special part. The general part sums up anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics of the knee joint. Apart from that, there is some information about gonarthrosis, indications and contraindications towards total endoprothesis of the knee joint. Last but not least we look at the specifications of rehabilitation regarding this diagnosis and used physiotherapeutic methods. The objective of the special part is a case study of the patient. It consists of complex kinesiologic evaluation, therapies during the patiens stay and the outcomes of the rehabilitation. Current approaches in conservative treatment of scoliosis - literature review

Title: Current approaches in conservative treatment of scoliosis - literature review Objective: The goal of this diploma thesis is evaluate the most efective current within a combination of a bracing with exercises therapy. Next goal is to summarize matters of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis disease, especially outline of clinical picture, causes and predisposition for origin these deformity and last but not least options in conservative treatment. Methodics: This diploma thesis is processed as literature review from available literary resources. First part of thesis contains all of theoretical bases and knowledge about adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. Second part has a decriptive-analytical charakter and contains analysis of studies, which was used a bracing supplemented by exercises treatment. Results: Established criteria after finish of review fulfill only nine studies, which interest about efectivness of treatment by bracing in pacient with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. Because the way of studies and their very low number of studies, is not possible to evaluate results of studies and conclusively interpret, which one is the most effective access. Author: Kryštof Voleský Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with funicular myelosis Objectives: Processing of theoretical base for diagnosis of funicular myelosis and elaboration of physiotherapy procedurs for patient with funicular myelosis. Methods: This bachelor thesis was originated on ground of practice at Military university hospital Prague from January 14th to February 8th . At the time I was working with patient with diagnosis of funicular myelosis, he was hospitalized during my practice (to January 28th ). The thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and special. The theoretical includes processed basic knowledge about the illness, characteristics, ethiopathogenesis, diagnostics, treatment, associated diseases and physiotherapy methods for diagnoses of funicular myelosis. Special part contains funicular myelosis patien's case concept, processes and effect of the therapy. Results: The Patient made progress at several areas. Title: The case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis with rhizomelic disability and after left hip joint replacement surgery Author: Adéla Cvachová Summary: The bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of rehabilitation after rheumatic surgery of the left hip joint, indicated from rheumatic ankylosing spondylitis disease with rhizomelic disability. It consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with the etiology of genesis, diagnosis clinical presentation, treatment options for ankylosing spondylitis and problematice of rheumatosurgery of the hip joint. Title: The case study of physiotherapeutical treatment of a pacient with diagnoses of Vertebrogenic pain syndrome of lumbar spine. Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to teach theoretical information related to vertebrogenic pain syndrome. A summary of appropriate therapeutic methods and approaches that can compensate for the patient's health and alleviate pain. And the subsequent treatment of casuistic physiotherapeutic care of a patient with diagnosed vertebrogenic pain syndrome. Methods: The bachelor thesis was elaborated on the basis of graduation of continuous professional practice at the Faculty Hospital Královské Vinohrady in the range from 21st January 2019 to 15th February 2019. Thesis title: The case report on the physiotherapy treatment for a patient diagnosed with peripheral facial palsy Aim of the thesis: The aim of the bachelor thesis is to study the theoretical background of the diagnosis of facial palsy and to develop a case report on the physiotherapy treatment for a patient diagnosed with peripheral palsy of nervus facialis. Methods used: The bachelor thesis contains theoretical findings about peripheral palsy of nervus facialis parse, including physical examination and possible treatment, especially the physiotherapeutic one. The anatomical context and a comparison with the central palsy are also dealt with. The special part consists of the case report on a patient diagnosed with peripheral palsy of nervus facialis, and contains anamnesis, initial kinesiological analysis, individual therapies and final kinesiological analysis including an assessment of the effect of the therapy. Title: The case study of the physiotherapeutic care of a patient with total endoprothesis of a knee joint Objectives: The purpose of this bachelor thesis is the processing of case reports about one patient during the bachelor's practice, which took place in the hospital Centrum léčby pohybového aparátu. This is a case study of the physiotherapeutic care of a patient with artrotic diagnosis with implantation of total endoprosthesis of the left knee joint. The patient was hospitalized on 9 January 2019 and the surgery took place on 10 January 2019. Methods: The thesis is divided into general and special part. The general part explains anatomy and kinesiology of the knee joint. Further, the thesis deals with the description of arthrotic disease, surgical treatment by application of endoprosthesis and physiotherapeutic care after surgery. The content of the special part is a case study of the patient. From physiotherapeutic methods, I used soft tissue techniques, Lewit's mobilization and postisometric relaxation, sensomotorcal stimulation by Janda, exercises according to muscle test and Kabat's method PNF. Topic name: A case report of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after total shoulder replacement. Aim: The aim of the theoretical part is to chracterize the anatomy of the shoulder joint, its kinesiology and biomechanics, then to summarize the topic of shoulder replacement and to focus on physiotherapeutic procedures used in patient rehabilitation. The aim of the practical part is to process the physiotherapeutic case study of a patient. Method: The theoretical part of the thesis is elaborated in the form of literary research.
