System with RC Model Servos
Kutěj, Jaromír ; Nosko, Svetozár (referee) ; Musil, Martin (advisor)
This thesis addresses the design of a movable RC model with a use of servo motors. It describes both the analysis of suitable hardware and a realization of the project with an emphasis on microcomputer controlled devices and technologies communication technologies with said devices. Furthermore, an interaction a interfacing with user is discussed. Based on findings a system is then implemented in form of a model of a car built atop of microcomputer, controlled wirelessly using a mobile application. This system is then enhanced by proximity sensors that prevent collisions by halting movement of the car.
System with Model Servos
Jablonický, Jaroslav ; Nosko, Svetozár (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This work is focused on exploring how to control modeling servos by computers. It will also serve as an overview or a guide for beginners. The work includes the design of a simple robot, more precisely it is a simple robotic hand, but in particular it contains control designs from different platforms using different means. Finally, there are recommendations for each platform.
Internet of Things Device Based on Thread and 6LoWPAN
Piškula, David ; Nosko, Svetozár (referee) ; Musil, Petr (advisor)
Internet of Things is among the newest phenomena of information technologies. This work describes the evolution and future of the Internet of Things and provides an overview of its current applications, then summarize the communication interfaces and protocols usable for the creation of the Internet of Things. The main focus is put especially on the IEEE 802.15.4 standard, 6LoWPAN protocol and the Thread technology. It also explains the term of Cloud Computing, platforms that are providing it and related types of databases. The design, implementation and testing of a Thread based solution are part of this thesis.
Image Processing in Embedded Systems
Frank, Igor ; Nosko, Svetozár (referee) ; Najman, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with creation of unusual input device based on image processing. More specifically, it's input device where camera captures keys printed on paper. Those keys are then used by user to control multimedia applications. The goal of this thesis was not only creation of such device, but also gaining new knowledge about image processing. The whole work is then devoted to analysis of existing solutions, basic theory, design and device implementation itself.
HDR Tone-Mapping Acceleration on Xilinx Zynq Platform
Nosko, Svetozár ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Musil, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the High-level synthesis (HLS). The first part deals with theoretical details and methods that are used in HLS tools. This is followed by a description of the synthesis tool Vivado HLS which will be used for implementation of an application. In the second part is briefly introduced high dynamic range images (HDR) and tone mapping. The third part is dedicated to design and implementation of the aplication which implements tone mapping methods in HDR images. This methods are implemented in Vivado HLS and language C++. This application is based on platform Xilinx Zynq and it uses multiexposure camera for capturing HDR images. Images are transmitted to FPGA for tone mapping processing.
Raspberry Pi - Video Control
Bock, Pavol ; Nosko, Svetozár (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The goal of this project was to design and implement a video playback controller for the Kodi player. First, existing solutions and products are described and analysed. Based on the analysis a technical product specification is created. Finally, an application is implemented according to this specification. The outcome of the project is a functional application that can be used to control video playback.
Robotic Arm with Model Servos
Bobčík, Petr ; Nosko, Svetozár (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis was to create my own robotic manipulator, which is controlled by its own user interface. I made a robotic arm based on computer Raspberry Pi 3B+ with 5 digital servos and a gripping mechanism in the form of a claw, to which I also attached a laser pointer. The user interface problematics was solved by creating a simple web page (combination of HTML, PHP and JS), which i placed into the Apache 2 web server (installed in Raspberry Pi). I successfully incorporated a way to control the servo one by one and how to control the whole arm with inverse kinematics into the user interface.
Smart City Brno - Researches
Witassek, Pavel ; Kula, Michal (referee) ; Nosko, Svetozár (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create the solution for the City of Brno, which will enable the collection of ideas and information about individual areas from the inhabitants of the city. The provided implementation is composed from two parts, the first one is the server with the API interface and the second one is the web application with the map. The mental map is used for the records of the opinions of the inhabitants of the City of Brno, where the responders mark the points. The City of Brno gets the feedback from its citizens and more important, the city gets the possibility to define its own survey and the city does not have to use costly solutions, which would anyway have to be adopted to the city needs.
Collection of Sensor Data into Cloud
HDR Image Acquisition on Mobile Devices
Padyšák, Michal ; Nosko, Svetozár (referee) ; Musil, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with high dynamic range in digital photography. This problem is solved by composing multiple images with different time exposure of the same scene into single one including high dynamic range. Method is implemented as an application for Android operating system and the result can be shown on display of the device.
