The nursing process in a patient with simple migraine (without aura)

In the introduced bachelor thesis I have written about nursing process about a patient with the simple migraine. The thesis is diveded into two parts. The first part is clinical and contains the anatomy of the brain, disease patogenity and a definition of migraine. Afterwards I have been focused on the migraine classification, the provocative factors and a decription of the migraine attack. In the end of the clinical part I indicate the examination methods, the diagnostics and the cure. The second part describes the nursing process. It includes six chapters in following order - the nursing anamnesis, the physical examnination, the definition of the Marjory Gordon nursing model (the assessment of a patient according to the Marjory Gordon nursing model), medical anamnesis, nursing diagnosis overview and nursing process including the nursing diagnosis, the nursing aim, the nursing plan, the realization and the evalution. Happiness of hospitalised children and parents in the Ophthalmology department for children and adults in FN Motol

The theme oť my dissertation is to find out, what is the satisfaction of children and their parents with nursing care. The text is div ided into two parts. The first part informs about nursing theory. It characterizes nursing and describes its progress, theory and several models of nursing, patients ' needs, nursing process, documentation, care and program of care quality. It describes basics of communication, image of nurses, their education and professional association. The second part contains results of my exploration and its analysis. My main objective was to find out the real satisfaction of pediatric patients and their parents with nursing care at the Department of Ophthalmology for Children and Adults in University Hospital Motol. Using questionnaire, I obtained answers of 56 parents and 25 chi ldren. I accentuated mainly general satisfaction with care, helpfulness and performance of nurses. I found out, that 89% of asked subjects were satisfied with nursing care. These results convince me, that the building-up of quality of nursing care is still possible and its monitoring is necessary. Peritoneal dialysis and its impact on the quality of patient's life

In my thesis, I have focused on health-related quality of life in patients treated for renal failure with ambulatory peritoneal dialysis. The I st theoretical part of my thesis summarizes information on Anatomy and Physiology of kidneys as well as on common renal diseases and their diagnostic and therapelltic algorithms. It also describes two modes of dialysis, e. i. peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis, and basic principles of kidney transplantation. Clear and detailed education of patients treated with peritoneal dialysis is one of the important factors that positively inf1uence patients' compliance and adherence to therapy. Well-organized psychosocial SllppOrt contriblltes to their increased qllality of life. The 2nd practical part explains the goal of my thesis, the primary hypothesis and final results. The qucstionnaire used in my study covers various moments of everyday living that may cause difficulties to di alysed pati n1s. One part of the fom1 focuses directly on activ ities and problems accociated with peritoneal dialysis. Basic description of the group of inq uired patients is also inc luded. The end of the thesis contains final conclusions and summaries of my research. Education of the ill before and after total hip replacement

This document describes several issues like keeping patients informed, education of patients and communication with patients while they are hospitalized for total hip replacement. The whole work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical part is focused on general description of hip joint diseases and different surgery methods of total hip replacement. The role of nurses is emphasized especially regarding communication with patients, their education and awareness. In practical part a survey is being conducted by questionnaire distributed to 64 respondents - patients of the Department of Orthopaedics Surgery (First Clinics) of the Motol University Hospital that have been hospitalized for total hip replacement. Questionnaire was focused on how patients are informed before taking into hospital and during their stay in the hospital. It was to find out how patients had been satisfied with communication with nurses. The output of this survey disclosed that patients require more information. For this purpose I have prepared information bulletin for patients. Regarding communication respondents expressed their consent with present state and suggested slight amendments for improvement in particular areas that would serve as basic recommendation for behaviour of nurses. Ethical aspects of treating the ill professing Islam focused to women during their pregnancy

My work is based on the relation srup to the pacients in multikultural care with attaution on Islamic culture. This work has two main parts - theoretical and practical. In theoretical part I was conceutrating an multicultural care which I based on Islam. In this part I worked out single differences of Islamic culture relat d on pacients, separatetely on woman. Here I discused how medical persona) moud care about muslim pacients and what they should know about Islam. In practical part I figured out by Questions list for pacients - muslim women how this theory is working in practice. After the research was finished I worked out the results. I think that this work is noting and waking attention on weakness points in multicultural care with attention on islam culture. Nursing process procedure in patient with an injury of cervical spine

I wrote my bachalor's work about Nursing treatment of patient with injury of cervical spine. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. I directed the theoretical part to anatomy and biomechanics of spine and spinal cord, to etiology, symptoms and classification of injury of cervical spine. Then I paid attention to principles of first aid and mainly to diagnostic and treatment. I mentioned prevention and prognosis of this disease. ln the practical part I paid attention to nursing treatment of particular patient with injury of cervical spine and transversal spinal lesion. I took care about this patient in the spondylosurgery ward, where the transfusion of the stem cells was made to him. During the hospitalization I to ok nursing anamnesis according to Majory Gordon and I set nursing diagnosis and their aim. I drew up a pIan of treatment, which I realized and than I evaluated the result of provided treatment. In one part I paid attention to education of patient. At the end I described how I took steps during writting my work, if my method of treatment came right and I informed about my knowledge and experiences.
