A teacher's profession at the secondary school during the coronavirus crisis

Reflection The diploma thesis deals with the topic of teaching during the coronavirus crisis. The coronavirus brought not only a disease, but also a pandemic which had global consequences for the population. People were affected by social, economic, psychological and physical consequences. This thesis deals with the impact of the pandemic on education and the form of teaching during this period. The teaching profession that was interrupted and limited at one point. Teachers were faced with a new situations brought by the closure of schools. A considerable amount of space is devoted to teaching itself, especially distance learning and it mentions its positives and negatives. A short cross-section of the history of teaching and its interruption is also interesting. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is devoted to important concepts related to the coronavirus disease, the occurence and development of the pandemic itself. It also deals with the beginning of the coronavirus crisis in the Czech Republic and what effects recieved Czech education. Then the form of teaching before the pandemic is explained. Emigration from Czechoslovakia - how to teach about this topic

The submitted diploma thesis is focused on the life and activities of the Czech-Roman theologian, Catholic priest and pedagogue, Karel Skalický. A man who, to pursue his desire for the priesthood went as far as to illegally cross the state border to get to Austria and to Italy. Therefore, refugees and their inclusion in the issue of international migration have become one of the topics of this work. The history and causes of migration are discussed in a greater context. Last part of the thesis is devoted to selected methods of interactive teaching and material based on them. This material can be used in teaching the 112 topic of refugees in Citizenship classes at the second stage of primary school. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The first, theoretical part, deals with concepts related to refugees and migration. More attention was paid to the plight of refugees after 1948 with greater emphasis on the situation in the church. Furthermore, the work points out the reasons for the escape of emigrants and some personalities who left their homeland. Assessment of the contemporary asylum and integration policy in Slovakia

Asylum and integration policies are important components of a country's migration policy. Firstly because of their very nature, as they deal with international protection and integration of foreigners into society. However, as it is indicated in this thesis, the functioning of these policies may affect not only how asylum or integration processes are taking place after the foreigners cross the country's borders but it may to some extent influence who comes into the country. This can be caused by how the country is perceived and whether people will consider it a suitable "refuge" and seek asylum there. Also, governments can determine how many people will come to their territory based on various relocation mechanisms. In order to understand the impact and functioning of asylum and integration policies, it is necessary to explore their different levels: discourse, policy on paper and its real implementation. This thesis describes how these levels interact and influence each other. Human Rights Abidance of the Senior Care in the Czech Republic

The main theme of this diploma thesis is the issue of human rights abidance of the senior care in the Czech Republic. It is mostly a theoretical work, which presents selected legal documents and defines the basic terms of the issue. The first chapter describes the specific legal documents; the second chapter is devoted to caring for the elderly. Pivotal is the third chapter, which deals directly to respecting the rights of care for seniors. Three case reports are included to better illustrate this issue.
