Cooperation between the police of Czech republic and civil society organizations in preventing and dealing with domestic violence
Titzová, Radka ; Moree, Dana (advisor) ; Hrabětová, Jaroslava (referee)
Domestic violence represents a societal problem that needs to be tackled at all levels. In the prevention and subsequent resolution of these issues are involved many actors including the state security component, i.e. the Police of the Czech Republic, as well as the civil sector organizations. In practice, however, it is becoming more and more common that the work of police officers and organizations staff is very often linked within the framework of the monitored issue, which often requires some degree of cooperation between the two, in many ways different, actors. This diploma thesis is already working with the assumption that there is already some form of cooperation among the actors involved. The main aim of the work, however, is to find out what form this collaboration has. The uniqueness of the research, based on semi-structured interviews, consists mainly of the views of both parties, both representatives of the Police of Czech Republic and employees of civil society organizations which are dealing with domestic violence issues. Key words Domestic violence, cooperation, civil society organizations, Police of the Czech Republic, relations, civil sector, state sector, efficiency.
