EU a lobbismus
Mestická, Kamila ; Ševčíková, Michaela (advisor) ; Loužek, Marek (referee)
The influence and representation of interest on the European level are becoming more important for companies. Even though lobbying is very often viewed as negative process, it is possible to look at it as a tool of coordination of interests. The aim is to show overview of economics schools dealing with lobbying and interest representation and to describe the possibilities for lobbying in the European institutional environment. The lobbying process in its variety of levels will be shown on the case study of the Shift2Rail JU. It clarifies that the professional association has the highest potential to widen their influence in preparatory phase of the process because of their knowledge of the European environment. The hypothesis assuming, that the participants would consider the process as complicated and bureaucratic, has shown to be incorrect. In contrary, they evaluate it as effective.
