Support family where living child with Down syndrome

The bachelor thesis called ,,Support of families where child with Down syndrome live" addresses the needs of children with Down's syndrome from their birth to adulthood, as well as the question of what are the areas of support and the needs of families with such children. The work deals with what is Down syndrome, its characteristics and what kind of support such child needs. It then describes how the family responds to the situation that a child with Down's syndrome was born and describes the social dimension of this disability. Moreover, the support of such families is described by means of services which are suitable for them. It contains qualitatively processed research. Respondents are divided into two age groups, namely families with young children with Down syndrome and families with young people with Down Syndrome. Research focuses on the needs of these groups and shows the area of support and experience with them.
