Simulation of long message routing
Bečka, Michal ; Mareš, Martin (referee) ; Kučera, Luděk (advisor)
This work deals with specific type of routing, created for directing long messages. The goal is to determine optimal settings for this routing by simulation. Part of the work is a design of a network node of a network for routing long messages, in VHDL language, this design is simulated for determining its performance. Another path is a simulation program for performance testing of various settings of this routing. By this program, optimal settings are determined for a network composed of the designed nodes, primarily for latency and network throughput. These settings are then implemented in the simulation program.
Experimental analysis of shortest paths algorithms
Truchlý, Peter ; Mareš, Martin (referee) ; Koubková, Alena (advisor)
Shortest paths problem is one of the most encountered graph problems, which is commonly solved as subroutine in large variety of other, more complex tasks. If some algorithm or implementation fits the specific purpose, may, or may not, be completely obvious in practice. In some instances, theoretically correct solution behaves poorly in practice, lacking by more than order of magnitude after concurrent solution. Main goal of thesis, is to provide up to date overview of current algorithms, extended by experimentally obtained data and guidelines for their best usage. Majority of listed algorithms was tested on the same system, to provide wide and consistent comparison. Mainly, listed algorithms belongs to class SSSP, and are implementable to commodity hardware. Algorithms belonging to other classes, like OPSP or APSP are also mentioned. Special attention is dedicated to current growth of parallelism on hardware side, such as multi-core CPUs and massively parallel computing environments derived from GPU.
C language program annotator
Sušil, Petr ; Patočka, Mikuláš (referee) ; Mareš, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a program for browsing C source codes and facilitate searching in them. The program should cover basic search functions and provide a plugin for the Emacs editor. In contrast to other similar project cspot knows well semantics of the C language, which makes it a great assistant. The speed and effectivity of program was being considered throughout its design as well as possibility of update of an auxiliary database. The thesis contains the description of the used data structures as well.
Scalable link-time optimization
Láska, Ladislav ; Hubička, Jan (advisor) ; Mareš, Martin (referee)
Both major open-source compilers, GCC and LLVM, have a mature link-time optimization framework usable on most current programs. They are however not free from many performance issues, which prevent them to perform certain analyses and optimizations. We analyze bottlenecks and identify multiple places for improvement, focusing on improving interprocedural points-to analysis. For this purpose, we design a new data structure derived from Bloom filters and use it to significantly improve performance and memory consumption of link-time optimization. Examination of respiratory disorders stereotypes and their effects on the musculoskeletal system PF JU students aged 19 to 25 years
MAREŠ, Martin
The main task of this thesis was an examination of breathing stereotypes on selected students of Pedagogical faculty aged from 19 to 25. The other objective was to develop an intervention programme according to which the selected students participated in six weeks lasting workouts that were focused on breath training with consecutive heightening of their physical efficiency. A method of content analysis was used for analysing literature and a method of content synthesis was used for application of gathered information and for creating the intervention programme. For the examination of breathing stereotypes a muscle dynamometer was used which is able to record a movement dynamics and simultaneously to record a breathing activity dynamics. The vital capacity was measured through a forced expiratory vital capacity (FVC) when also a value of one second exhale was recorded (FEV1). This test was performed in standing upright position on the machine Spirometr Otthon, evaluation was processed in the Thorsoft programme. The study was participated by six students who at first passed out an entrance examination where the main values were defined, then the intervention programme and after the end of it the participants underwent a checking (output) examination. During processing of the thesis it was confirmed that the developed intervention programme, which is based on aerobic exercises and completed with resistance training, has a factual and statistical significant effect on strengthening the respiratory muscles which are activated by the diaphragmatic breathing within resting breathing and deepened breathing. For the determination of the substantive significance the Cohen's d was used, then the paired Student´s t test for dependent samples.
The Students themselves - Student Center Poříčí
Mareš, Martin ; Nový, Vítězslav (referee) ; Foretník, Jan (advisor)
Block closure by the building inspirated by historical town system. Nice location fo student housing in touch with nature near to center of town. Historical styled building penetrated by the new aged concrete boxes.
Graphical Tool for Packet Generation
Mareš, Martin ; Bartoš, Václav (referee) ; Puš, Viktor (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is about network packet generators. The first part is devoted to communication theory in computer networks from the perspective of TCP/IP architecture. The second part describes the results of search for currently available tools. The third part is devoted to design and implementation of own tool with graphical user interface for packets generation. The tool is designed object-oriented with an emphasis on ease of future expansion. The application concept includes also tools for generating dynamically changing series of packets to simulate network flows. The designed tool is implemented using the programming language C++ and the Qt framework. The last part contains an evaluation of results and comparison with the already available solutions.
Analysis Tool for the Network Traffic Content
Mareš, Martin ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
This paper is about designing and implementing a tool for analysis of the network traffic content. Work is part of the SEC6NET project at FIT - Brno University of Technology. The paper describes specific requirement for such a tool and existing solutions. The main part is devoted to design and implementation of new tool - Netfox Detective. Several problems are handled: data persistence, performance, extensibility, etc. The last part of work describes possibilities and features of the Netfox Detective. The work emphasises extensibility and future development of a created tool.
‘‘Pilsen – a Hidden Potential of Rivers and Quays‘‘
Mareš, Martin ; Prudík, David (referee) ; Františák, Luboš (advisor)
Student Martin Mareš will be dealing with a phenomenon of quays in the city of Pilsen. The chosen place is situated in the wider range of the city centre touching the Radbůza river. The key to bring a life into this area doesn’t have to be just the quay of the river itself. The specific object of the diploma project will be specified or adjusted after agreement with the head of diploma project.
The History of Physical Education and Sport in Třešť
MAREŠ, Martin
This graduation thesis traces the history of physical education and sport in Třešť from its beggining, when Sokol was founded there, to the present, respectively by 2014. The thesis is divided into three historical periods, when first period is defined by years 1893 and 1945 and deals with Sokol gymnastic unity and Labour gymnastic unity. The second period 1945 1989 is focused on inception and development of major sports clubs and the third period, from 1990 2014 builds on previous period and deals with major sports club.
