Distributed power quality monitoring systems
Pithart, Jan ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Drápela, Jiří (advisor)
Subject of this master’s thesis deals with the issues parameters of electric power and some possibility of measuring with focusing on norm requiring parameters. There are some distributed power quality monitoring systems described, which are available. The following chapter discusses the suggestion and implementation of the low-cost monitor with remote control for low-voltage networks. The thesis also concerns the using MySQL database for archiving measuring values and implementation of web applications for on-line presentation of the measured values.
110/22 kV Transforming Substation Reconstruction
Kubiš, Petr ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Macháček, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of reconstruction 110/22kV distribution substation in economic point of view, where we will assess the benefits of a combination of their involvement using the discounted cost. It’s necessary to reconstruct distribution substation due to the increasing demand for electricity, upgrading equipment in the distribution systems, improve the reliability of electricity supply to customers, etc.. Distribution substation layout must meet conditions resulting from a law on energetics and operation of primary distribution networks.
Economical appraising of run the power from cogeneration units to different voltage level
Doležal, Václav ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
The topic of the thesis is economical appraising of run the power from cogeneration units to different voltage level. There is sloves in the text, how and under what conditions we can find an optimal solution for the deployment of cogeneration units to the electricity network. The main criterion is the loss of networks and their economic evaluation. We are a description of the different types of cogeneration units, the economic balance and a treatise on losses in electrical networks.
Software support for design in power electric system
Roule, Jaroslav ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis describes software solutions for designing in energetics. The first chapter aims at description of individual companies and their software products. Software is further divided into programs for dimensioning, programs for 2D and 3D designing a projecting, programs for financial part of design and programs for other computings. The second chapter analyzes the programs separately. The third chapter describes each one of companies. The last chapter consists of prices of individual programs that are divided for the same groups like they were at the first chapter.
Design of snow-slip seeker
Macháček, Jan ; Sládek, Josef (referee) ; Zvonek, Miroslav (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis concerns with a design of avalanche transceiver, which uses current technologies, tries to predict their development, combines them in new contexts and focuses on functionality and relations between inner content and outer form. Concept respects ergonomic rules and tries to develop a new attitude to the construction of the avalanche transceiver.
Factors Affecting the University Choice in the Czech Republic
Macháček, Jan ; Brožová, Dagmar (advisor) ; Mirvald, Michal (referee)
This thesis examines monetary and non-monetary gains from university education and its effect on varying demand for education. It distinguishes individual faculties of public universities. Compared to related papers this study encompasses a wider dataset as well as the number of non-monetary gains. Presumably, it is the first study of its kind applied to the labour market and the educational system of the Czech Republic. The main source of data is the REFLEX 2013 survey, which provides statistics of the graduates´ employability and their social status. On its basis regression models at various time levels were drafted. The hypothesis that the unemployment of graduates has a negative effect on the demand for their field of study as well as the hypothesis about the lagged relationship between dependent and independent variables have been proved. Nevertheless, compared to some US studies the positive influence of the graduates´ salary has not been proved in any regression model.
Task automation in spreadsheet program with the assistance of VBA
MACHÁČEK, Jan
My thesis primarily deals with a part of spreadsheet program - their macro language - Visual Basic for Application {--} VBA. The work describes the structure, features and characteristics of the language. It also brings a procedure enabeling to create macro without the knowledge of programming, as well as the procedure how to create one´s own functions and procedures or their part. The work also includes a source code of my own application that is used in practice. At present there are more instruments on the market, not just one. However, all my thesis (except the final evaluation) concentrates on one particular variation of this particular spreadsheet program {--} Excel, which is a part of Microsoft Office Professional Version 2002 (XP). The reason I chose this product simply comes from the fact that it is my daily work tool in my job. In the final part of my thesis I compare the chosen software with another alternative software.
