Urban concept of social center in residential complex Brno-Lesná
Márová, Kateřina ; Jenčková, Barbora (referee) ; Herzan, Radovan (advisor)
The subject of thesis is the solution of urban study of social centre Brno Lesna, which hasn´t been completed according to the original design. Mentioned location is situated at the borough Brno-Sever, exactly in the southern part of the quarter Brno-Lesna. The thesis aim is to analyze the cited area and then design appropriate complement of functions. The design suggestion should not involve the original urban design and newly created values. One other aspect is to check out the functioning of the traffic infrastructure and to design the modifications. The main idea is to bring the population of the peripheral parts of the area to the centre and thus increase capacity utilization of social centre.
Numerická optimalizace
Márová, Kateřina ; Janovský, Vladimír (advisor) ; Lukšan, Ladislav (referee)
This thesis addresses the topic of unconstrained optimization. It describes seven derivative-free optimization methods for objective functions of multiple variables. Three groups of methods are distinguished. The Alternating Variable method and the method of Hooke and Jeeves represent the pattern search methods. Then there are two simplex algorithms: one by Spendley, Hext and Himsworth and the amoeba algorithm of Nelder and Mead. The family of methods with adaptive sets of search directions consists of Rosenbrock's method, the method of Davies, Swann and Campey, and Powell's method. All algorithms are implemented in MATLAB and tested on three functions of two variables. Their progression is illustrated by multiple figures and their comparative analysis is given. Optimization using derivative-free and metaheuristic methods
Márová, Kateřina ; Tichý, Petr (advisor) ; Šmídl, Václav (referee)
Evolutionary algorithms have proved to be useful for tackling many practical black-box optimization problems. In this thesis, we describe one of the most powerful evolutionary algorithms of today, CMA- ES, and apply it in novel way to solve the problem of tuning multiple coupled PID controllers in combustion engine models. Wireless communication technology NFC
MÁROVÁ, Kateřina
Aim of this bachelor thesis is to handle the issue of new wireless communication technology NFC (Near Field Communication) including a comparison of advantages and disadvantages of NFC with other wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, etc.). NFC is a technology for wireless communications between different electronic devices, one of which is typically a mobile phone. Near Field Communication allows wireless communication at very short distance by approaching or enclosing two devices and can be assumed that it will by used instead of credit cards, keys, IDs, etc. It will also support NFC technology researched by different mobile operating systems. Also creating a list of specific devices that support NFC technology. In this thesis a survey of the current expansion of this technology among professionals and laypeople in the Czech Republic will be carried out.
