The orthodox psychotheraps (The Another Aproach To Man)
Hempl, Jiří ; Luptáková, Marina (advisor) ; Vopatrný, Gorazd Josef (referee)
(Annotation) This thesis compares the orthodox approach to man to psychotherapeutics, especially with psychoanalysis, analytic psychology and logoterapy. These systems arise from positivistic backgrounds and approaches to man in this direction. In opposite to psychoanalysis analytic psychology and logoterapy think about spiritual aspect in life of man, but both systems mostly psychologize this aspect. The orthodox psychotherapy especially works with this spiritual aspect. It comes out from patristic anthropology referring that man is God's creature according to Genesis. The spirit aspect plays the cardinal role in the relationship between man and God. This relationship was corrupted by the rebellion of man against God. This rebellion has changed the ontological nature of man. According to the orthodox psychotherapy mental disorders are a result from this ontological change of man, which characterized by "garment of skin" done by God for man to revive in fallen state. The solution of mental disorders and then spiritual problems is to accept the state of "garments of skill" and in renewing of relationship with God.

Following the various jurisdictions and churches are described. A fundamental consideration is given to the canonical Orthodox Churches, then to the Orthodox Churches with less problematic canonical status, but there are also other Eastern Christian churches mentioned. Within the area the eminent figures of church life are closer described. This descriptive material is supplemented by interviews and journalistic texts, which further analyze situation of churches in the region and their various problems. It is also accompanied by photographic material. The Theological Delineation of the Icon in the Teaching of the Orthodox Church, with Emphasis on the Seventh Ecumenical Council
Kout, Vít ; Luptáková, Marina (advisor) ; Milko, Pavel (referee)
In this paper, I will attempt to present a comprehensive picture of the theological significance of the icon in the Orthodox Church. My goal is to contribute at least to a slight extent to the spreading of a consciousness about icons as vehicles of dogmatic communication, specifically in the Czech environment, which still lacks a wide range of basic catechetical literature. My work delineates the concept of an icon and continues with an explanation of its mystical role arising from the creation of humankind in the image and likeness of God. I consider that the basic criterion of an image - its element of divine inspiration corresponding to an adequate extent to God's current economy, which fully culminates in the Pentecost - is fully justified by the constant presence of the use of iconographic expression in the liturgical acts of the Old Testament and New Testament Churches. In order to explain the mystic and sanctifying nature of the icon, I include an interpretation of the philosophical system of the Christian-Neo-Platonic tradition of understanding the presence of the archetype in the image on the basis of the element of similarity. In the outline of basic subjects during the Seventh Ecumenical Council, by the analysis in controversial use of the terms "latreia" and "proskynesis" in council documents, a...
The criminal personality profiling
Bartoš, Jaromír ; Ventura, Václav (referee) ; Luptáková, Marina (advisor)
In this diploma thesis I deal with the criminal personality profiling of criminal acts. I have tried to summarise this subject in an integral form and have emphasised forensic psychological use in practice. A kernel of an entire methodology may be sought in some of the scientific disciplines, especially in psychology, psychiatry, sociology, and demography among others. This methodology arises from human behaviour and, thus, cannot emerge as an exact science. I describe the process of the compilation of a profile and, in some places, I recap the repeated symbols of the criminal acts and, specifically, I characterise a perpetrator of diverse criminal activities. My goal is to draw this theme to the attention of otherwise uninterested people, to stress the interconnection and the possibility of its use in criminal practice and to mention further associated methodologies such as computer databases and geographical profiling. Offender profiling is undergoing rapid development and is subject to constant new developments from specialized investigators.
