Fundrainsing in the Czech Republic Focused on the Winton Train Project

The topic of my graduation thesis is ?Fundraising in the Czech Republic: The Winton Train Project?.
The first part of the thesis deals with the options and obtaining of the financial resources for various cultural events from many different sources: from grants and public funds, organizations and committees concentrated around the bodies of the EU, funds of respective regions, the ministries of the Czech Republic as well as from individual Czech cities. I describe that it is also possible to approach non-public sources of finance, such as from businesses for example.
The second part of the thesis provides the background, production and analysis of the Winton Train project itself, focusing specifically on the fundraising activity of this socio-cultural event. The third and the final part reflects the production and fundraising experience I gained while carrying out the project ?Charles Bridge 2010? - the outdoor exhibition of photographs in Prague?s Kampa Park.
The goal of the thesis, ?Fundraising in the Czech Republic: The Winton Train Project? is to explain the complexity of the task of fundraising, which does not lie simply in obtaining financial means. Fundraising is a set of various complex activities intertwined with the sustainable existence of civil society.
