Vehicle Safety Systems

This thesis looks into car industry safety systems research and an appropriate implementation into a scale model (demonstrator). For the model there are selected active safety systems based on distance sensors of various principles. The thesis contains a detailed description of the selected sensors together with the selection of a suitable demonstrator control device. There are active and passive safety and vehicle assistance systems explained. The thesis further discusses the design of individual 3D printed parts of the demonstrator chassis and their development. The components and circuitry of the PCB are also described, along with the safety algorithm used and the operating firmware.

Germ cell apoptosis induced by artificial cryptorchidism.

Abstract. We had studied morfological and histological changes of Wistar rat germinal epithelium after experimentally induced cryptorchidism. Our experiment had lasted seven days. Cryptorchic testes was injected by solution of MDOCTM. We used also tissues which was taken from other comparable studies but without MDOCTM for histological evaluation of shorter time intervals. Both size and weight was significantly reduced in cryptorchid testes compared to contralateral and control testes (22.4% and 52.6% respectively). We recorded degenerative changes of germinal epithelium including epithelial desintegration and release of immature and apoptotic cells, which was found in epydidimal tubules, even in one hour interval. Six days after operation, multinucleated cells and vacuolization of epithlelium also appeared. Seven days after operation (and aplication MDOCTM) we found a significant degeneration of germinal epithelium comprising features from vacuoles to apoptotic cells. A large number of macrophages also appeared in this interval. We didn't record any degenerative features in contralateral and control testes.

Abstrakt Cílem této diplomové práce bylo sledování účinku intratestikulární aplikace 1 ml 1 % roztoku xenobiotika sodno-vápenaté soli mikrodispersní oxidované celulosy (MDOC) na struktury zárodečné tkáně varlete laboratorního potkana v krátkém období po operativním umístění jednoho varlete intraabdominálně. Použili jsme tak model experimentálního unilaterálního kryptorchismu u dospělých samců potkana kmene Wistar, který byl jako metoda zaveden a je užíván na pracovišti Katedry biologických a lékařských věd.U každé operované skupiny byla provedena u jednoho zvířete kontrolní slepá operace.Varlata lokalizovaná abdominálně i ve fyziologické poloze byla po usmrcení pokusných jedinců odebrána na histologické zpracování pro účely světelné mikroskopie v časových intervalech 1 , 24 , 48 hod. a 6 a 7 den po operaci.Parafinové tkáňové řezy byly barveny hematoxylin - eozinem, zeleným trichromem a PAS reakcí a byly zdokumentovány a vyhodnoceny pomocí mikroskopické obrazové analýzy. První projevy desintegrace germinativního epitelu jsme zaznamenali u abdominálně reponovaných varlat již po jedné hodině od operace a aplikace MDOC.V intervalu 24 a 48 hodin byl již germinativní epitel abdominálních varlat oproti fyziologicky...
