Komparace profilu návštěvníka vybraných turistických oblastí jižní Moravy
Kubová, Kateřina
Kubová, K. Comparison of visitor’s profile of selected tourist areas of South Moravia. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2023. The bachelor thesis deals with the identification of the visitor profile of selected tourist areas and their subsequent comparison. The literature search is focused on introducing the topic and defining basic concepts in the field of tourism. In order to identify the profiles, a questionnaire survey was carried out with-in the framework of the cooperation between Mendel University and the South Moravia Tourism Centre. On the basis of the information found, suggestions for the use of the results in practice and recommendations leading to more effective tourist areas marketing management were established.
Language and Style of Underground Children's Books
Kubová, Kateřina ; Mareš, Petr (advisor) ; Vaňková, Irena (referee)
Kubova, Katerina: Language and Style of Underground Children's Books: The Thesis. Prague: The Faculty of Arts of The Charles University, Institute of Czech Language and Theory of Communication, 2011. Thesis Advisor: Prof. PhDr. Petr Mares, CSc. This thesis aims to examine the linguistic and stylistic aspects of Czech underground literature for children. In the first part, it focuses on the specifics of children's literature and on the term "child aspect" which serves as a criterion for further analysis of selected texts. The thesis also presents selected writers of children's literature and their work. The linguistic and stylistic analysis is largely based on the book Současná stylistika (The Contemporary Czech Stylistics), which characterizes the individual linguistic levels of a fictional text. Texts for children, written by Egond Bondy and Ivan Martin Jirous, the most prominent figures of the Czech cultural underground of the 1970's and 1980's, are analyzed. Finally, the linguistic and stylistic features of the samizdat anthology Čert má kopyto… (The Devil Has a Hoof…), which represents a sum of the Czech underground literature for children, are examined, determining texts that meet both the criterion of the children's literature and the criterion of the underground poetics, and therefore...
Influence of lubricants on viscoelastic parameters of compaction process
Svačinová, Petra ; Rabišková, Miloslava (advisor) ; Kubová, Kateřina (referee) ; Zámostný, Petr (referee)
Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department Pharmaceutical technology Candidate Mgr. Petra Svačinová Supervisor Prof. PharmDr. Miloslava Rabišková, CSc. Title of Doctoral Thesis Influence of lubricants on viscoelastic parameters of compaction process This thesis deals with an evaluation of lubricant's influence on viscoelastic parameters of compaction process. The force-displacement record and stress relaxation test were used for this evaluation. This study evaluates the viscoelastic parameters on three fillers intended for direct compression, i.e. microcrystalline cellulose Avicel PH-200, lactose Lactochem Fine Crystals and calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate Emcompress. Magnesium stearate and modified colloidal silica Syloid were used as lubricants at concentrations of 0.5 % and 1 %. Particle size and shape and specific surface area were determined for all used excipients. Flow properties were studied for individual fillers and also for their mixtures with lubricants. Subsequently, tablets were compressed from fillers and mixtures using force-displacement record and stress relaxation test, and viscoelastic parameters were evaluated. The applied compression forces for both methods were 5 kN, 10 kN and 15 kN. The hardness of tablets was measured. The results show...
Biopharmaceutical aspects of macromolecular carriers for systemic sublingual drug delivery
Berka, Pavel ; Doležal, Pavel (advisor) ; Kubová, Kateřina (referee) ; Kvítek, Libor (referee)
Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmaceutical Technology Candidate Mgr. Pavel Berka Supervisor Doc. RNDr. Pavel Doležal, CSc. Title of Doctoral Thesis Biopharmaceutical aspects of macromolecular carriers for systemic sublingual drug delivery The primary aim of this work was to experimentally verify the hypothesis on sublingual permeation of macromolecules as drug carriers. Literature data about the sublingual route of drug administration and methods of sublingual and buccal membrane processing for in vitro experiments were reviewed for this purpose. The task to design and verify a new methodology of processing and preservation of sublingual membranes suitable for permeation experiments resulted from this literature review. The new methodology of the "flash freezing" membranes uses the prepared membranes with complete epithelial composition, including the lamina propria and part of the fibrous substrate. Rapid membrane freezing with liquid nitrogen (-180 řC) was performed without cryoprotectants to avoid affecting membrane permeability, with only preliminary fixation of protein structures with sodium azide. For comparison, membranes were also frozen by conventional slow freezing to -20 řC and declared as "frozen" membranes. Neither "fresh" nor "flash frozen"...
Medicated polymer systems based on branched PLGA derivatives
Martiška, Juraj ; Dittrich, Milan (advisor) ; Kubová, Kateřina (referee) ; Kvítek, Libor (referee)
Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmaceutical technology Candidate Mgr. Juraj Martiška Supervisor doc. RNDr. Milan Dittrich, CSc. Title of Doctoral Thesis Medicated polymer systems based on branched PLGA derivatives This work is focused on the use of originally synthesized poly(DL lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) derivatives with relatively low molar mass, and linear, star, or comb architecture as promising biodegradable carriers for prolonged or targeted drug release systems. Thermal properties of these polyesters were evaluated by thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry. Polyesters were used for nanoparticles formulation by nanoprecipitation method, which has been optimized with emphasis on organic solvent selection, polyester concentration, phase mixing speed, and stabilizer selection. After method optimization, nanoparticles with encapsulated terbinafine, a typical drug of the BCS class II, were prepared. Multiple parameters such as particles size, polydispersity index, zeta potential, encapsulation efficiency, loading capacity, and morphology were monitored. Spherical morphology was observed using scanning electron microscopy. The hydrophobicity and the polyester concentration revealed the main impact on the nanoparticles size...
