Krobot, Michal ; Tyslová, Irena (advisor) ; Kouba, Vojtěch (referee)
The aim of the bachelor's dissertation is to map the history of hip hop culture and its enculturation in the world. It explains the origins of the hip hop movement, defines the basic elements and important personalities influencing its development. From the beginning it focuses mainly on the origin and development of the cultural patterns in dance. Consequently a crucial part of the work derives mainly from my experience as a professional dancer, organizer, regularly educating people abroad and actively involved in the development of this culture in our country. In general it explains the economic contribution of the culture to the world, examines the emergence and development of the culture, assesses the differences between the original and devolved formula and outlines the social structure of dancers and the infrastructure of organizations in the Czech Republic.
