Tsaparegas, Ilias Antonios ; Jalovcová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Kozderková, Romana (referee)
Title: Rehabilitation after Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) Reconstruction Nazev: Kazuistika fyzioterapeuticke pece o pacienta s plastikou predniho zkrizeneho Author: Ilias Tsaparegas Aim: In this thesis, a therapeutic approach of ACL Reconstruction due to tendon rapture will be described and a complete therapeutic record of a patient after ACL Reconstruction is demonstrated. Methods: The rehabilitation included 6 days of therapy. The main points of the state of the patient were light pain while walking, muscle weakness and incoordination, joint play restrictions and restriction of ROM of joints on the lower extremities. The first and last sessions with the patient included the Kinesiologic evaluation. Therapy and the methods which were used included joint play, strengthening exercises without and with the use of tools (like over-ball, Theraband, various balance boards, Posturomed platform, stationary bicycle, Stairmaster, soft pads), Isometric and Isotonic exercises, Post Isometric Relaxation (PIR), Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Fascilitation (PNF) techniques and Sensorimotor training. Results: After 6 therapeutic units with the patient, she was able to walk with increased confidence and pain free at the knee joint. Mobilization of the restricted joint movements was successful and released the...

Title: Case study of a physiotherapy treatment of patient with Arthritis of the wrist joints. Název: Kazuistika fyzioterapeutické péče o pacienta s diagnózou artróza zápěstních kloubů Aim The aim of my bachelor thesis is to analyze the diagnosis of my patient and find a proper therapeutic plan for his health care and to prevent any further complication. Moreover I will be able to understand the function and the structure of wrist joint. Summary My bachelor thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part is called general part and I mention a brief description of the anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics of the wrist joint. Ethiopathogenesis and proper therapeutic plan is mentioned below. The second part which is the practical (special) part give us all the proper information about the patient's anamnesis, all the examination that where performed and also my therapeutic plan that I proceed to my patient for six days by using special strengthening exercises, Propriomed, myorelaxation techniques and modalities like magnetotherapy. Results After six sessions the situation of my patient was improved. The main goals have been accomplished. The pain was decrease and there was greater ROM of the wrist joint. The patient was able in the end to be active and confident without the sign of pain which was...
Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient with pain in the medial part of the left calf
Mazzola, Elisabetta ; Maršáková, Kateřina (advisor) ; Kozderková, Romana (referee)
"Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient with Pain in the Medial Part of the Left Calf" The following Bachelor thesis took place at the outpatient rehabilitation department of the Central Military Hospital, in Prague, for a period of two weeks. The aim of this work is, firstly, to present a theoretical overview about the area of the body subject to the patient's complain, exploring the leg and the triceps surae from an anatomical and kinesiological perspective. Then the muscular pathological finding that is the most probable cause of the patient's pain is investigated. The second part of the thesis concerns the practical work performed in hospital and wants to show if and how the initial physical condition displayed by the patient can change through the application of appropriate physiotherapeutic procedures, which are based on the results of examinations and on the investigation of the possible causes of the triceps surae pain. The 30-year old patient showed pain to the touch in a restricted area of the medial aspect of the left triceps surae that was also tense and swollen. It corresponded to the location of a myofascial trigger point in the gastrocnemius. Not only the left gastrocnemius was problematic but many other muscles of the lower extremities and the trunk showed hypertonicity,...

Ioannou, Persia ; Stupková, Michaela (advisor) ; Kozderková, Romana (referee)
Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of pertrochanteric fracture of the left hip joint. Thesis aim: The aim of this thesis is to initially review the anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics underlying the patient's condition, as well as demonstrate, analyze and evaluate the therapeutic units that were provided. Clinical findings: This study was evaluating the state of a 40- year-old patient with the main diagnosis of pertrochanteric fracture of the left hip joint. The assessment showed reduced range of motion and mobility, with differentiation in the condition of the muscles. Also, there was atrophy of the left thigh muscles and the restricted movements. Methods: All the used procedures were based on the literature given thought by the Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Physical Education and Sports. Result: The patient made remarkable progress after only 6 sessions of therapy. The patient underwent great progress in terms of pain, range of motion and muscle imbalance in the area of hip. Furthermore, the therapies have shown to be very effective concerning the patient's diagnosis. Conclusion: The therapies that were performed were effective in this patient's concrete diagnosis. Keywords: Hip joint, fracture, pertrochanteric, PFN, DHS, treatment,...
