The thesis on India tries to show the country and its economics in the links with geographical, cultural and historical background. The work consists of four parts. The first part provides the basic facts about the country from various angles. Second part enables us to reveal some social habits necessary for respectful and successful negotiating with Indian partners. The third chapter describes India as a fast developing country which even reached the position of an investor in many countries including the Czech Republic. The final part sets India in the framework of world's economics and shows it as a country with a rapidly increasing rate of growth.

Diploma thesis focuses on the development of external economic balance of the Czech Republic in the years 2000-2009. The first chapter introduces the theory of the external economic balance. The second chapter describes the development of balance of payments of the Czech republic in the years 2000-2009. The third chapter analyzes the factors affecting the evolution of the balance of payments of the Czech Republic.

The bachelor thesis should be used for the initial orientation especially for entrepreneurs who are considering penetrating the United Arab Emirates markets. The thesis aims to provide an in depth analysis of the business environment within the UAE, with special regard to the culture of the region and related indiosyncracies. One of the key success factors, besides the commercial, technical or other related knowledge, is a comprehensive understanding of the local, predominantly Arab, mentality and the unique approach to trading. This report seeks to incorporate as much information as possible from various sources overlaid with my own personal experiences with regional practises. The thesis is segmented into four components. The first section is dedicated to general characteristics of the UAE, the second section examines trade relations within the region, the third section examines important cultural and commercial differences, and the final section is based on the long experiences of expatriates living in Dubai.
Business and culutral specifics of Norway

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to provide general information about Norway, to assess its economic situation, economic development and basic macroeconomic indicators. Another part deals with Norway's EEA membership in international organizations and business relations with Czech Republic and European Union. The last chapter focuses on the cultural and business differences in different styles of negotiations between Norway and Czech Republic.
Business cooperation between the Czech Republic and Saudi Arabia

The aim of this thesis is to introduce the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as an important potential partner for the Czech business entities based on a comprehensive and objective analysis of factors that could affect the cooperation between these two countries. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first one deals with the general characteristics of Saudi Arabia, particularly with demographic and geographic data, administrative structure, history and political-legal environment. The second chapter is about the economic characteristics of the country and it concentrates on the development of macroeconomic indicators, the various sectors of economy, finance, foreign trade and investment climate. The third section focuses on business cooperation between the Czech Republic and Saudi Arabia, with an emphasis on the development of mutual relations, trade balance and the specifics of the entry of Czech subjects on the Saudi market, including SWOT and PESTLE analysis and information about companies that have been already successful on the Saudi market. The last chapter is about cultural differences and I mention Hofstede's cultural dimensions, gender issues, values in society and the impact of cultural differences on the business negotiations.

This thesis provides complex information about Senegal with regard to its relations with the Czech Republic. The first chapter presents basic information about the territory, such as geography, demography and history of Senegal and detailed characterisctics of local population. The second chapter discusses the current political and economic situation in the country as well as its foreign-policy orienation. The third chapter describes the position of Senegal in international trade and focuses on its relations with the Czech Republic. The last chapter is an overview of Senegalese society and culture, with an emphasis on cultural aspects of business negotiation in the country.

Furthermore, it evaluates czech export opportunities in the canadian market and depicts the task of business negotiation in the international relations with this country.
State and business protocol of Great Britain

The bachelor thesis deals with the basic characteristics of British state and business protocol. The first part contains a definition and further explanation of some basic terms connected with the state protocol in general, as well as a short section about British state symbols and their symbolism. The second part is devoted to the British state protocol itself, its individual parts and their further characteristics. The third chapter focuses on detailed specifics of the British business protocol, beginning with the proper introduction when meeting someone new and ending with a successful business meeting and development of a business partnership. The last part presents an evaluation of a questionnaire concerning the British business environment and etiquette. For this purpose were used the answers of a random group of working British.
Analysis of the development of foreign trade relations between the EU and Japan

This work deals with foreign trade relations between the European Union and Japan, with enhanced focus on the Japanese economy. The first chapter analyzes the essence of economic development in Japan, evaluate its current situation and propose solutions that could help the Japanese economy. The second chapter is devoted to a comparison of Japanese and EU economies, according to certain factors. The last part deals with bilateral relations between the EU and Japan, and then tries to find prospects for further cooperation.
State and business protocol in Germany

The first part of the bachelor thesis focuses on the explanation of the terms diplomatic protocol, state protocol, ceremony. Furthermore, it deals with the state protocol in Germany, the procedure of official state visits and also with the German national symbols. The other part is aimed at the German business protocol and the intercultural differences. We can find there the principles of the preparation of a business negotiation with German partners. In the final part the reader can acquaint with modern trends in the business negotiation which are nowadays common part of a working day of businesspeople dealing with German colleagues.
