The Analysis of Economy of Ukraine in Comparison with the Czech Republic

The work is devoted to the analysis of the economies of the two states: the Ukraine and the Czech Republic. In both of the state are analyzed indicators of GDP, the trade policy inside the state and on the international market, unemployment, inflation, investment policy. The work also deals with the causes of the economic crisis and its negative impact on the economy and proposes principles and methods of mitigating or limits the negative effects of the crisis on the economic situation in Ukraine.
The main goal of this work is to propose the possibility of the rise of the Ukrainian economy at the level of the economy of the countries of the European union. Listed variants are based on the methods used in the development of the economy of the Czech Republic and their exit from the crisis.

Analysis of the Slovak Economy in Comparison with the Czech Republic

Bachelor thesis is focused on analysis of Slovak and Czech economics using captured data during a 23 years period from 1990 to 2013. The main aim of this thesis is to describe, evaluate and compare both economics in this time period.
This work is divided into two parts. In the first, theoretical part, is introducing and explaining indicators used in the analysis, including GDP, inflation, unemployment and exchange rates. The second, practical part, is concentrating on the use of indicators mentioned in theoretical part using particular data. Individual indicators are displayed in graphs and are accompanied by explanatory comments. The practical part is divided into three periods for better transparency. The first period, from 1990 to 1992, is dedicated to Czech and Slovak Federative Republic, the second period covers years 1993 to 2000 and the last period covers 2001 to the last processed year 2013.
In the conclusion is contained summary of the practical part and evaluation of economic efficiency development of both countries during monitored time period.

The Analysis of the Austrian Economy in Comparison with the Czech Republic

This thesis conducts a comprehensive analysis of the economy of Austria and the Czech Republic from 2009 to 2014. Attention is paid to key macroeconomic indicators, which are interpreted and compared with each other. The first part presents theoretically characterized macroeconomic indicators that will be compared and interpreted in the thesis. The second analytical part focuses on the current state of the economies of both countries. It focuses on the comparison of GDP, public debt, unemployment, inflation and foreign trade of the Czech Republic and Austria.

The Impact of the Intervention of the Czech National Bank on the Consumers in the Czech Republic

This study concentrates on the situation of the Czech economy before and after the CNB intervention. The theoretical section covers economic terms that were and still are connected to today's currency market intervention. Those terms include different kinds of currency exchange and its establishment. Next is a money system connected with a buying power, as well as history and current situation of the Euro and the Czech crown, and the significance of gold. Further on, the banking system is analyzed, pointing out the specifics of the CNB and the role of commercial banks. The terms deflation and inflation are explained, with examples of countries where they are happening, and the role of international business, mainly import and export. In the analytical part, the impact on the Czech citizens is researched through a survey. 271 respondents, including students, employees, and business people, answered how the devaluation of the Czech crown impacted the citizens, how they felt about being informed about the situation through media, and if they understood what CNB did. The survey also asked if the opinions of respondents have changed after 2 years. At the end is an interview with a former member of the bank's board who made decisions about the interventions, reflecting her view of the Czech economy and Euro currency.

Comparison of Czech and Russian Economy Due to the Financial Crisis of 2007–08

The name of the thesis The Comparative Study of the Economics of the Czech Republic and Russia after the Financial Crisis breakdown is very interesting because it is a comparison of two very different states: the Russian Federation is a large federal state, open economy, and the state is sovereign. Czech Republic is a member state of the European Union, and therefore the sovereignty of the Czech Republic in this way is limited. The main objective of this study is to compare how both countries felt the impact of the financial and economic crisis. The methods used are mainly statistical methods, especially compared to macroeconomic indicators in the Czech Republic and Russia.

This bachelor work consists of the development of the Czech economy in relation to the financial crisis that occurred between 2007 and 2014. The focus is on the impact of the crises on key macroeconomic indicators of the Czech economy. The theoretical part of the work characterizes the concept of the economic crisis in the United States. The analytical part focuses on the immediate situation in Czech Republic, above all on the development of GDP, external economic relationships, measurements of unemployment, inflation and the government's fight against this crisis.

The impact of the economic situation on the gold market

Aim of this thesis is characteristics of gold as commodity and analysis of world gold market focusing on economic determinants (offer and demand) which compel the situation on the market. Then evaluation of gold investments in cooperation with risks consequent from investments.
Theoretical part of this thesis is elaborated on study of scientific literature in topic of gold and internet resources specialized especially on describing chemical and physical features, price development, forms of investments, deposits and use.
Practical part of the thesis includes analysis of the world market, gold offer and inquiry. Important point is comparison of gold with other chosen commodities, more specifically with silver, oil and electricity. Also this part describes ways of evaluations and investments, while the most profitable investment are certificate purchases.
The gold market is constantly affected by economic situation of every country. Gold inquiry stagnates but its stock and offer for gold is slightly increasing. It means, that gold mines might be completely excavated one day. Despite that gold is often invested in as well as being turned into jewels. Thanks to that gold is called rare and precious metal and people are still aware of its (constantly) growing value.

This Thesis Deals with the Position of a Company within a Competitive Environment. The Theoretical Part of the Thesis Is Devoted to the Main Concepts that Appear within the Work Including the Various Types of Competitors and the General Objectives of a Company. The Work Analyses the Factors which Affect the Efficiency of a Company and Its Competitiveness within the Market. It Further Describes Selected Ways of Analysing the Internal and External Corporate Environment. In the Practical Part of the Thesis an Analysis of the Company PayU Czech Republic s.r.o. the Operator of the Internet Payment Gateway PayU Is Carried out. The Current Situation of the Company Is Evaluated in Light of the Development of the Market in which It Operates in Comparison to the Main Competitors and in Terms of Its Internal and External Surroundings. The Analyses of the Company are Carried out on the Basis of the Procedure Described within the Theoretical Part of the Thesis. The Data Obtained Are Used in order to Assess the Company´s Competitiveness and in order to Draft Subsequent Proposals for Strengthening of the Company´s Position within the Competitive Environment.

The thesis on regards the topic Fair Trade - Analysis of selected products - tea, and discusses the international trade in commodities with regard to the human factor, where business conditions are not primarily aimed at fighting competition. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part explaining the concepts, history and vision associated with Fair Trade and tea. The second part is practical, its main objective is a field research, which is finding the awareness of the population of the Czech Republic about Fair Trade and tea. Finally, the thesis tries to outline other options how to better inform the Czech population on Fair trade and to increase the sale of products.

Vliv hospodářských zásahů na změnu v biologické rozmanitosti ve zvláště chráněných územích: Monitorování změn biologické rozmanitosti v NPR Bohdanečský rybník a rybník Matka

Od roku 1995 probíhá v NPR soustavný zoologický a od roku 1999 botanický průzkum, jejichž cílem je zachytit změny druhové diverzity s realizací managementových a revitalizačních opatření. Ve všech biotopech probíhá botanická inventarizace, v lučních a lesních biotopech bylo v roce 2000 provedeno fytocenologické snímkování, na revitalizovaných plochách probíhá snímkování v liniových transektech. Zoologický průzkum byl od roku 1995 zaměřen především na obratlovce. Mimo obratlovců byli koncem 90. let také zpracováni vodní měkkýši a pavouci. Od roku 1998 je prováděn průzkum vážek, v roce 1999 byl započat průzkum denních motýlů.
