Long-term stability of underground openings with respect to their liquidation at the small and middle uranium deposits of the Moravian Moldanubicum (Olší-Drahonín, Jasenice-Pucov)
Hájek, A. ; Konečný, Petr
Securing of the long term stability of underground openings mouthing to the surface (shaft, drifts, galleries) is the basic presumption for the successful liquidation of an exhausted deposits. The calculation of stability for such openings in small and middle deposits of uranium was realised in connection with their closing. Opening deeper then approximately 30-50 m were taken under consideration.
Rock Bursts in the Czech part of the Upper Silesian Basin when mining the seams under thick barren measures
Konečný, Petr
Rock burst events with focus area outside of the coal seam are desrcibed. Such rock bursts are in the Ostrava-Karviná Coal Basin usually induced by mining in stratigraphic lower seams with overlying 100 m thick solid roof zone developed without any workable coal seam. The process of rock massif failure in such conditions is described Deformation and failure connected with restoring new equilibrium condition could be manifested then by destruction even in mine workings located in considerable distance from rock burst focus zone.
Temperature effect on selected mechanical properties of rocks of Skalka locality
Konečný, Petr
Results of research of temperature effect on selected mechanical properties of rock of Skalka locality are discussed.
Stability problems connected with the maintenance of the burning waste bank of the mine Kateřina (Radvanice, Bohemia)
Osner, Z. ; Němec, J. ; Konečný, Petr ; Doruška, J.
Maintenance of the burning waste bank of the Kateřina Mine consists in the replacement and cooling of more the 2,3 millions cubic meter of waste material. The crushed and cooled waste material is stored in some insulated waste rock beds. The mathematical modelling of the stability of the new waste rock bodies, which are based on inclined ground is described.
A Heat stress of Rocks and support in underground repository of nuclear waste
Šňupárek, Richard ; Konečný, Petr
A heat stress of rocks is an important problem in connection with underground storage of waste nuclear fuel. Thermomechanical stress in rock mass and concrete support was studied on the base of mathematic modelling. Conclusion show, that thermomechanical stresses in rock and support influence stability state of an underground openings.
