The topic of the thesis is assessment of speech as a language skill of secondary school students during Russian language lessons. The theoretical part is dedicated to assessment in the process of learning, its purpose, functions and types. The next part involves assessing as a part of teaching a foreign language, following up with detailed focus on assessment of speech of secondary school students. In practical part, it is analyzed to what extent the assessment of speech during Russian language lessons in secondary schools is being applied, or what types of assessment are represented. The bachelor thesis focuses on the comparison of the vocabulary of skiing between Czech, Russian and English. The thesis compares lexical units related to downhill, cross-country or acrobatic skiing. The practical part examines the origins of individual words, phrases, names of particular sports equipment or activities. Furthermore, the bachelor thesis deals with the complexities in the field of translation or the complexities in the field of researching the origin of individual terms.
Representative Problems Faced by Beginning Teachers of Russian and Czech

The theoretical part focuses on the aspects of the teaching profession and teacher's competencies, followed by a description of beginning teachers of the Czech language and Russian as a second foreign language. This thesis also summarises the most common problems faced by these teachers. In the practical part, these problems are compared by a semi-structured interview with beginning teachers. In these days, beginning teachers of Czech and Russian are faced with problems related to the integration of arrived Ukrainian pupils in the context of the war in Ukraine. Most respondents point to the same gaps in the university preparation, namely the problematic form of internships, teaching of professional subjects, didactics, pedagogy and psychology. As for the introduction to the position, the most common form of support is the introducing teacher, who was assigned to most of the respondents, but cooperation was often formal or otherwise dysfunctional. Beginning teachers of Czech and Russian have the same issues with the textbook series, that they must use, and with the pupil evaluation. The thesis deals with the issue of expressing a ban in Russian in comparison with Czech. The theoretical part provides a brief overview of the ways of expressing the ban in the comparison plan. Theoretical starting points are applied in the practical part of the work, where the knowledge is supplemented by acquired examples, and we find out in which ways of expressing the ban in both languages exact equivalents can be found and where, on the contrary, the expression of the ban differs. This thesis is concerned with phraseology and its intertwining with didactics of foreign languages. The practical part consists of the analysis of a contemporary situation in didactics of foreign languages, particularly the utilization of idioms. Further, the frequency of using proverbs and other set phrases in modern textbooks for teaching foreign languages (namely German and Russian) is analysed. Czech, Russian and British Vocabulary Regarding Holidays and Traditions in Comparison

The aim of this thesis is to compare and contrast the most signifiant Christian Festivals celebrated in the Czech Republic, the Russian Federation and in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The theoretical part of the thesis analyses the customs, traditions and practices involved in the celebrations of Easter and Christmas in the three areas concerned. The thesis explains the importance of the religious content involved and compares and contrasts the similarities and differences in the ways the festivals are celebrated in the three areas. Special emphasis is given to the vocabulary used and how this vocabulary can be used to support the teaching of the English and Russian language.
Problems with using of the reflexive "себя" in studying Russian

This diploma thesis deals with the Russian reflexive pronoun «себя» in comparison with the Czech pronoun. The aim of this thesis is to compile a set of exercises for students of the Russian language in order to eliminate mistakes in connection with this topic. The thesis is divided into two parts - a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is based on specialized (academical) literature. This part contains general characteristics and classifications of pronouns. It focuses on issues with the Russian reflexive pronoun and its Czech equivalents. It also includes a chapter about transfer and interference. The practical part proceeds from the theoretical part and from a questionnaire. The questionnaire was completed by the first-year students of the Faculty of Education. On the basis of its results, general conclusions and proposals of exercises for acquiring the topic are formulated and intended for students of the Russian language.

Jakub Konečný ABSTRACT: To date, the study of the stylistic language system is one of the most important trends in linguistics. Researcher's interest to changes, development and proper use of language is still continue to grow. Especially the mass media language attracts the attention of researchers, because during the process of studying it can be clearly observed the processes of the development and changes of the language. This work is devoted to the phenomenon of the Russian language - subprime vocabulary. This topic is relevant today and it is still being studied by the linguists. Feature of this work consists of the increased attention to the vocabulary itself and to the content of the mass media test. This work reveals the history, development and styles of the vocabulary as well as the functions and features of the mass media language. Works of the Russian linguists, such as G.Y. Solganik, V.V. Vinogradov, L.V. Szczerba, L.A. Vvedenskaya, Y.S. Maslov etc became as the base of this work.
