Applications of scheduling algorithms in railway transportation
Fajmon, Michal ; Kokrda, Lukáš (referee) ; Pavlas, Martin (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis is focused on creation of mathematical model, which uses multiple methodsforwastecollectionatthelevelofmunicipalities.Modelisfocusedon railfreight transport. Main reasons are of lower production of emissions and reduction of burden on road traffic. In order to create model, the knowledge of graph theory, integer and linear programmingisused.CreatedmodelisimplementedinGAMSenvironmentonsmallscale data. At the end there are stated possibilities for further development of the model.
The Application of Fuzzy Logic for Rating of Suppliers for the Firm
(PBS Brno). Společnost existuje více než 200 let na trhu a má více než 100 dodavatelů po celém světě. Proto je potřeba navrhnout adekvátní systém hodnocení dodavatelů. Pro vyhodnocení budou použité programy MS Excel a MATLAB.
Optimization of building constructions with probability constraints
Kokrda, Lukáš ; Mrázková, Eva (referee) ; Popela, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with penalty approach to stochastic optimization with chance constraints which are applied to structural mechanics. The problem of optimal design of beam dimensions is modeled and solved. The uncertainty is involved in the form of random load. The corresponding mathematical model contains a condition in the form of ordinary differencial equation that is solved by finite element method. The probability condition is approximated by several types of penalty functions. The results are obtained by computations in the MATLAB software.
Mathematical model of road geometrics
Krist, Thomas ; Kokrda, Lukáš (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor deals with road modeling. At the beginning there is a short overview of the history, which explains the context of historical events and road communications. In the next chapter there are two road models described. First is a model, which by its principle reminds the finite element method and the second is a geometric model, which is described by geometric curves. In this work, emphasis is placed on the second method, which is described in detail. In Chapter 5, a road model is finally constructed and described by equations.
Engineering Optimization
Kokrda, Lukáš ; Hrabec, Dušan (referee) ; Popela, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with convex optimization and in particular, it processes a design of the optimal support of a loaded beam. For better understanding of the terms used, the bachelor thesis contains the brief introduction to the convex optimization problems, explanation of the basic therms of ordinary dierential equations and theory of elasticity. When the original model is built, then the results are obtained by computations in the MATLAB software.
Assessment of ecosystem functions of urban greenery
Zemek, František ; Pikl, Miroslav ; Pavelka, Marian ; Zapletal, Miloš ; Kokrda, Lukas ; Novotný, Jan ; Duchková, Helena ; Vačkářová, Davina ; Foltýnová, Lenka ; Cudlín, Pavel ; Kolařík, J. ; Holešová, H. ; Mácová, Kateřina ; Chalupová, O. ; Vojáčková, B. ; Mikulášek, J.
The methodology brings about new and practical approaches in assessment of five ecosystem functions and services of town greenery. It covers four regulation functions (microclimate regulation, carbon sequestration, pollution and noise reduction) and one information function (aesthetic and cultural-recreation). The calculus is based on a single greenery object evaluation using simplified biophysical and statistic models, however complying with all natural principles. The models utilize data standardly available in urban greenery passports and those which are accessible via map servers, e.g. meteorological situation and sociodemographic conditions.
