Terminologies expressing complex social hierarchies in Russian and Czech

This Bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of terminology expressing complex social hierarchies in Czech and Russian, which is examined in the examples of military ranks. The aim of this thesis is to create parallel Czech-Russian military terms and examine them in terms of their word formation, especially systematism, motivation and etymology. The thesis also includes a brief historical overview of the development of Czech and Russian military ranks. The following sources were used in this thesis; general and specialized lexicological literature on word formation, general and specialized dictionaries, publications and articles of the authors dealing with the issues of milatary terminology. The primary method in this thesis is a confrontational analysis which should lead to the conclusions of the specific Russian and Czech military terminology representing social hierarchy. This bachelor thesis is focused on phraseology of Russian and Czech languages which meanings contain antonyms beautiful - ugly. Examined are idioms describing the external appearance of humans, they are divided into different groups - beautiful, ugly, fat and slim. The second part of this thesis consists of the evaluation of our questionnaires in which we have involved Russian and Czech high school students living in the Czech Republic. The subject of the present thesis is resultative and perfect of -(в)ши in non-standard varieties of Russian languange. The thesis is consists of four chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the theory. The second chapter focuses on analysis of examples of perfect and resultative in -(в)ши , which were collected mostly from colloquial languange, but also from dialectical literature and from fiction.The third chapter of the thesis contains the results of questionnaire and commentary on it. In the introduction, the work is devoted to the characteristics of analyzed languages and it defines the essential differences between French and Russian in their classification, orthography and phonetics. It mainly focuses on the differences in phonetic systems of the languages, which are crucial for the issue of transcription. The thesis then defines the development, use and types of the transcription and discusses the methods to transcribe one language system to another. The thesis also defines the main principles for transcription from the Latin script into the Cyrillic script. In the section devoted to the analysis of transcription, work assigns the selected toponyms to the each type of transcription and it explains how the transcription rules were used. Living legacy of Michael Chekhov acting method

(in English): This Bachelor's thesis called Living legacy of Michael Chekhov acting method is divided into three thematic units. The first unit presents so called Stanislavski's system, the first complex conception of modern acting method, developed by Konstantin Sergeievich Stanislavski during his time in Moscow Art Theatre. The second unit apprises the readers with life and especially the method of one of the Stanislavski's followers Mikhail Aleksandrovich Chekhov. The objective of this thesis is to find out whether the legacy of Chekhov's acting method is still alive. The research is presented in the final unit which describes the acting studios founded by Chekhov himself during his life but also another existing studios around the world.

This work is devoted to the Russian language advertising, which examines in an independent system. It aims are analyzing the text of Russian advertising in terms of its information and formal structure. It focuses on a specific aesthetic qualities of language, which the text uses. Work is further focused on the categorization of neologisms and neologisation of the Russian advertising. Next focus is on loanwords from the English language. Used research methods are descriptive and comparative. The outcome of this work is the systematization of information and the formal structure in the advertising text, we have also been shown to frequent infiltration of artistic means in the language of advertising and its active neologisation. Work can be used as a suitable basis for specifics in Russian advertising texts or a different language studies, possibly for development of marketing strategies and marketing research.

The thesis is based on the theory of cognitive linguistics, especially on theory of semantic school of Lublin. Euphemismus in Contemporary Russian Language

This thesis describes the issue of the use of euphemisms in contemporary Russian language. It is aims to determine thematic areas in which euphemisms are used in contemporary Russian and compare it with conclusions of previous research. Another purpose of the research is determine function of euphemisms for particular thematic areas and compare frequency of incidence of euphemisms in lifestyle magazines for woman and newspaper with extensive target group. Material for the research was derived from the Russian press. Collected examples have not been used in previous studies. Based on theoretical findings thematic areas of using euphemisms and their functions were determined. Collected examples were explored from several perspectives - function, thematic areas they were used for, connection between context and perception of particular name as euphemism, description in the literature etc. One of the conclusions of this thesis is finding that there are thematic areas where euphemisms are used in contemporary Russian that have not been described in the literature. Model of the world in the texts of children's folklore and peculiarities of its functioning in a modern children's literature (for example, Grigory Oster's poetry)

(in English): Abstract for thesis on the topic "The model of the world in the texts of children's folklore and peculiarities of its functioning in modern children's literature (the poetry of G. Oster)." The study examined the texts of rhymes and sadistic rhymes identified among pupils of junior classes, in order to identify the main features of modeling the world which are shown in the analyzed texts. Then the features of that models considered by the example of the texts of modern children's literature, in particular texts of G. Oster. The work performes next tasks: 1) to reveal the specifics of child's consciousness, reflected in studied children's folklore genres; 2) to compare the main features of modeling the world in the texts of rhymes and sadistic rhymes; 3) to identify the features of the functioning world's systems in modern children's literature (in the texts by G. Oster). An analysis of 70 text units, which function in the modern children's subculture, identified a specific children's picture of the world and its reflection in the texts of studied genres and texts of modern children's literature (for example the poetry of G.Oster). This graduation thesis concerns the active process of professional designations via the spectrum of gender linguistics and comparison of these designations in the Russian and Czech language. The main objective of the thesis is to point out differences in composition and frequency of using feminine nouns in both languages. Designations come from neologism dictionaries and media. Their normativity is verified with dictionaries the status of what is codifying.
