Strengthening steel beams using reinforcement based on FRP
Bláha, Tomáš ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
A study of an influence of strengthening steel beams using reinforcement based on FRP on a moment bearing resistance and bending stiffness. Evaluation of the theoretical calculation methods based on the performed experimental verification. Description of the production of carbon fibres and composite materials on the basis of carbon fibres.
Steel load-carrying structure of production hall with bridge crane
Štulrajterová, Terézia ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and assessment of a steel load-bearing structure of a two-aisle production hall. That hall has a rectangular ground plan of a width 32 m (20 + 12 m) and lenght 54,54 m (9 modules distanced 6 m from each other). The main aisle is 10 m high and inside is located a overhead crane with carrying capacity 5 t. The second aisle is used as a storage area for materials that have already been produced. The skeleton of production hall is made of a ten transversal bindings. Lattice trusses are hinged mounted on constraint pillars of solid poles. The hall is situated in the north of the Czech Republic in the city of Děčín.
Steel industrial hall with crane rail
Holec, Tomáš ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
The bachelor thesis contains a design of one-aisle industrial steel hall with span 30 m, length 82 m and height of the holder of a crane track girder 7,5 m. In the hall there is an overhead crane with load capacity of 20 tons. The main structural material is steel S 355. It is processed several versions and one is processed in details. Drawings contain the platform and section of the hall and manufacturing drawings of the truss.
Steel Lattice Mast 4x110kV
Baďura, Martin ; Karmazínová, Marcela (referee) ; Melcher, Jindřich (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the design of the supporting steel lattice tower for power lines 4 x 110 kV. The spatial structure of the support construction is designed in accordance with the security requirements for the purpose of the object (i.e. power transmission). The supporting structure of the tower is designed from standard rolled steel sections and accommodates any recent changes in regulations and technical standards related to the construction and operation of outdoor high-voltage power. These changes are mainly related to the new European regulations and standards and their harmonisation with the Czech system.
Steel carrying structure of the sport building
Géczyová, Michaela ; Karmazínová, Marcela (referee) ; Melcher, Jindřich (advisor)
The task of my bachelor thesis was to assess roofing sports building according to Eurocode. The building fulfills the recreational function for the general public and serves as a gym. The building has the shape of a circular sector in plan and contains a set of radially steered beams forming a conical surface with an inclination of 30.49. The sports object linking it shed. Supporting system of the form inclined radially driven trusses, which are placed truss bracing for stability. Sheath forms a conical surface double glazing.
Steel structure of training tennis hall
Vlček, Radek ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
The content of the bachelor thesis is a proposal and evaluation of a steel load-bearing structure of a rectangular tennis hall with a floor space of 40x63 m. The building is situated outside the urban area near the Moravičany municipality. The hall consists of 11 cross-links spaced by 6.3 m. The main load-bearing system consists of spatial arched trusses, purlins and lateral bracing that support the spatial rigidity of the construction. The calculations were made in compliance with the Czech technical norms ČSN EN.
Footbridge for pedestrian and cycling traffic in Kunovice
Boček, Michal ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
Subject of this bachelor`s thesis is drafting and assessment supporting structure of footbridge for pedestrian and cycling traffic over a water flow. Footbridge is designed because of transfer of cycling path in Kunovice community, Uherské Hradiště district. Structure have two main girgers joined with lower deck. Structure is computed as space steel truss from tubes, including railing beams, with load in all direction. Margin of supporting structure is 26,550m, free width is 3,200m.
Steel Structure of Pool Building
Novotný, David ; Karmazínová, Marcela (referee) ; Melcher, Jindřich (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the design and stress analysis of the steel structure of pool building in Brno. It also includes the assessment of the main load-bearing construction elements and of the details of selected connections. The thesis also contains the design documentation of the building.
Steel hall structure for industrial production
Bém, Miroslav ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is design and assessment of the double aisle steel hall structure for industrial production in Moravské Budějovice. The hall has rectangular ground plan and it is 30m (18 m and 12 m) wide and 56 m long. There is trolley crane inside in the buinding with a lifting capacity of 12,5 tones. The main bearing components are trusses, solid poles, bracings and thin-walled purlins.
Family house load-bearing structure composed of thin-walled steel members
Bulíček, Radek ; Melcher,, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design and verify load bearing members of single-storey family house composed of thin-walled cold-formed elements. Parking space for cars of timber members is the part of the house, too. The family house is in rectangular plan with dimensions of 9.5 x 10.5 m. The roof of the house is hipped, on the side of the house with the parking place rafters are associated with garage rafters. The following elements were statically assessed: structural members of the house roof (rafters, collar tie, roof bracing), structural members of the ceiling (ceiling beams), reinforcing timber frame, external and internal load bearing walls (columns), load bearing elements of the parking space (rafters, purlins, columns). All assessments were performed according to currently valid standards. The calculation showed that the resistance and serviceability of all components are satisfied.
