Multi-funkcional building
Kadlecová, Michaela ; Jacková, Eva (referee) ; Sátora, Josef (advisor) ; Krupicová, Jana (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is based on the studio project of residential buildings. The project develops architectural study of multifunctional house on the Milady Horákové street in Brno – Zábrdovice. Projected building site is located between blocks of residential buildings from Art Nouveau. The designed object is connected to the existing neighbouring buildings by means of its height as well with its courtyard greenery. Apartments are oriented to the south – toward the courtyard, therefore very well illuminated, and rather shaded in the noise of intensive street traffic. In underground floor the polyfunctional house is equipped by cafe. Ground floor includes a reception and provides an access to all buildings compartments so as the courtyard, followed by Juran´s hall and IBC centrum. From first to- fourth floor of the northern part there are offices and shops.
PEG-based semi-interpenetrating polymer network hydrogels
Kadlecová, Michaela ; Kalina, Michal (referee) ; Sedláček, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with optimization of the preparation of hydrogels based on polymer networks of polyehtylene glycol with the incorporation of a semi-interpenetrating polymer networking and the following chemical-physical characterization of the prepared hydrogels. Polyehtylen glycol diacrylate was chosen from the range of polyethylene glycol modifications as a model material for the formation of hydrogels. Based on this, the preparation using UV photopolymerization was optimized. After optimization of the preparation, selections and following incorporation of the polyelectrolyte took place. Sodium polystyrene sulfonate was chosen as a model polyelectrolyte. Then, there was a basic characterization and comparison of the prepared hydrogels based on polyethylene glycol diacrylate with and without the addition of polyecletrolyte. Swelling, rheology, scanning electron microscopy were used for basic characterization and transport characteristics were investigated using diffusion.
The role of adrenergic system in genetic hypertension
Loučková, Anna ; Kadlecová, Michaela (advisor) ; Husková, Zuzana (referee)
The adrenergic system plays an important role in the regulation of blood pressure. In the spontaneously hypertensive rat, the most studied model of essential hypertension, many components of the adrenergic system are altered. Changes in expression level of any catecholamine biosynthetic enzymes or any adrenergic receptor subtypes could be one of the causes of hypertension development. In this work, the expression of adrenergic system genes was measured in adrenal gland, renal cortex and renal medulla of the spontaneously hypertensive (SHR), Wistar-Kyoto and Brown Norway rats at the age of thirteen weeks. In adrenal gland of SHR, all four catecholamine biosynthetic enzymes (tyrosine hydroxylase, DOPA decarboxylase, dopamine β-hydroxylase and phenylethanolamine-N- methyltransferase) and almost all subtypes of adrenergic receptors (with the exception of Adra1a and Adra1d) were underexpressed. This generally decreased expression in adrenal gland of SHR suggests that at least a part of regulation of adrenergic system gene expression is common. The mechanism of this downregulation in SHR could be a negative feedback through adrenergic receptors stimulated by high plasma noradrenaline concentration. In the kidney of SHR, there were no differences in the expression of most of adrenergic receptor subtypes with the...
The Social Status of Women in the Indonesian Society
Kadlecová, Michaela ; Budiman, Michaela (advisor) ; Petrů, Tomáš (referee)
In this bachelor thesis "The Social Status of Women in the Indonesian Society" I deal with the social status of women in the Indonesian society with the main focus on Indonesian women's organisations and movements and their impact on the future of women living in the Indonesian archipelago. The first chapter deals with the historical evolution of women's social status from prehistoric times to modern times and with the position of women towards men, the second chapter briefly defines feminism, its division into three waves and the female roles development according to the French philosopher Gilles Lipovestky. The third chapter is focused on women's movements in Indonesia, their origin, development, demonstrations and imporant Indonesian women and national heroines, who have contributed to many reforms in the area of women's rights and gender equality. The practical part is divided into two parts, the first part is about field research, which is focused on selected women's movements and organisations operating in Yogyakarta, which are Feminis Yogya, Rifka Annisa and Indonesia Tanpa Feminis. The task of this field research is to find out what their actions, goals, services, activities and campaigns are. The second part contains a questionnaire survey whose research sample became representatives of...
Ensuring Access to Basic Health Care for Children and Young People from Socially Disadvantaged Backgrounds
Kadlecová, Michaela ; Tomeš, Igor (advisor) ; Vojtíšek, Petr (referee)
(in English): The thesis deals with the current state of the functioning of the health care system for children and youth in the Czech Republic with regard to the possible consequences of failure to provide basic health care resulting from difficult life situations, and therefore closely related to the social sphere. The main objective is to explore whether the current system is functional enough that there are no socially disadvantaged individuals "falling through a net". The theoretical part deals with the lives of socially disadvantaged individuals, with a focus on the family and its specifics. Furthermore the work deals with pediatric and dental preventive and curative health care. In addition to discussing basic parameters of the care, there are analyzed the risks for the eventual malpractice. Solution of the research uses a qualitative method using interviews with instructions. Not only was the research sample composed of individuals with experience with social disadvantage - particularly parents with children from shelter homes where one can assume such experience, but also practicing doctors who come into the very first contact with children the most often - pediatricians and dentists so that the view on the situation is as complex as possible.

Comparison of the basic life quality indicators of the population older than fifty years in the Czech Republic and Spain
Kadlecová, Michaela ; Malá, Ivana (advisor) ; Bílková, Diana (referee)
The work's content is an analysis of basic indicators of quality of life and their comparison between Czech Republic and Spain. The first section is focuses on the SHARE project (health research, aging and retirement in Europe). The data in the practical section were obtained through the SHARE project. The following four variables are considered: age, education, number of children and life happiness. These variables are visualised through contingency tables, bar charts and histograms that show the answer frequency. The work's ultimate goal is to find out the result differences between the mentioned countries, as well as to explain their causes.
International trade with writing instruments
KADLECOVÁ, Michaela
The purpose of this thesis was to analyse current situation in the stationery market within European Union. The results show that there is a strong competition in this business branch. In the member states of EU, there are more than 60 cooperating stationery manufacturers that are associated under the EWIMA organization. EWIMA plays an important role in the process of harmonisation of relevant legal provisions of individual member states with common legal framework of EU. The legal provisions of EU are focused mainly on the consumer protection, harmlessness of products, safety, environmental protection and also at waste management and treatment of chemicals.
Juvenile delinquency as a social phenomenon of modern society
KADLECOVÁ, Michaela
Thesis deals with the phenomenon of juvenile antisocial children and adolescents, its sociological and criminological analysis. It highlights the possible causes of violent and delinquent behavior of children and adolescents in our society. The work points to the negative phenomena and aggression in our society, which may trigger additional criminal and delinquent behavior. Thesis examines the attitude of our society to violence, repression indicates the possibility of this behavior and try to figure out how best to prevent this undesirable phenomenon.
