The concept of St. Nicholas Day with elements of drama education in kindergarten.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the use of elements of drama education in the theme of St. Nicholas Day in kindergartens. The thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part focuses on drama education and different concepts of celebrating St. Nicholas Day in kindergartens. It also touches on the topic of Franz Kett's pedagogy and describes the figure of St. Nicholas and the legends associated with him. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the preschool child's fear resulting from the traditional concept of celebrating St. Nicholas Day and explains the concepts of fear and anxiety. In the practical part, a drama lesson focusing on the feast of St. Nicholas is presented. The drama lesson is implemented in five kindergartens of different orientations. In the practical part, interviews with kindergarten teachers are also conducted and the research method of questionnaire is used. The aim of this Bachelor's thesis is to find out how the topic of St. Nicholas is dealt with by the teachers in the different kindergartens and whether this topic can be treated by means of drama education. Type 1 diabetes mellitus in children and its impact on quality of life

This bachelor's thesis focuses on children suffering from type 1 diabetes mellitus and their parents. The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to assess how the parents of type 1 diabetic children evaluate the quality of life in connection with their children's disease and how the type 1 diabetics themselves evaluate it. A combination of qualitative and quantitative research strategies was chosen in the research. The structured interview technique was used in the qualitative strategy, and the PedsQLTM questionnaire was used in the quantitative part. Interviews were conducted with parents of children with type 1 diabetes and with the diabetics themselves. The interviews were recorded on a voice recorder and subsequently transcribed into a textual format in an electronic version. The questionnaire was used in both the version for children suffering from diabetes mellitus and in the version for parents of diabetics. The interviews were evaluated using open coding. Codes were then assigned to individual statements. The questionnaire was evaluated using descriptive statistics. The bachelor's thesis serves to increase public awareness of type 1 diabetes mellitus and its impact on the family.

Quality Standards for Social Services and their Implementation in Residential Senior Care

A Genesis and formulation quality standard for social care is related to demographic trends and were going in context with community planning. Specific requirements are assigning for residential senior care. An implementation quality standard was accomplished in institution ``Domov pro seniory sv. Jiří v Plzni{\crqq} (DSJ), that provide residential social services for senior citizens. In DSJ was created governance documentation ISO 9001 compatible in intranet environment and requirements of standards was performing in processes. This change was connected with deep transformation in staff behavior and knowledge. Success was verified by internal audit, witch was served as training for quality inspection as well. Quality standards implementation was improved client satisfaction, but last not leased was increased education costs. Documented knowledge of this project is applicable as best practices for similar service providers.
