Krejčí, Tomáš ; Vašíček, Martin (referee) ; Lázničková, Ilona (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with the topic new isolation lines of 110 kV. The aim is to propose new insulator hangers. The first, theoretical part focuses on the development of insulators, cutting and possibilities of application. They are the different materials that are used for the production of insulators HV, advantages and disadvantages long rod and cap and pin insulators. There are also described insulator hangers. The theoretical work is to describe thefittings for overhead transmission lines, which are, used to construct a insulator hanger. The last part of the theoretical work is intended distribution towers for overhead lines HV. The practical part deals with the design of new insulator suspensions for specific lines of 110 kV. The results are drawings newly designed hangers and a list of materials (fittings) for individual towers and the total amount of material. The practical part is calculating the differences in the conductor sag using old and new insulators hangers.
Co-incineration sewage sludge in the existing plant
Krejčí, Tomáš ; Ferdan, Tomáš (referee) ; Frýba, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis focuses on problems with co-incineration of sewage sludge in existing plants. The introduction of my thesis deals with a brief summary of a sludge management, sludge treatment methods and subsequent utilizations methods used for sledge disposal. Next chapter contains a calculation of calorific value, depending on the water content and volatile substances in dry solids of the sludge, it offers an overview of devices applicable for thermal processing of sludge and a description of the co-incineration in existing plants. The seventh chapter is devoted to the legislative parameters which influence the ways of dealing with sewage sludge. After the thermal treatment of sludge it is necessary to decontaminate flue gases of harmful substances resulting from incineration process, thus following there is a description of the most important devices used for its elimination or its reduction. My work ends with a search of methods dealing with the thermal sludge utilization in foreign countries.

Theoretical and methodological bases of anticipation of brownfield and risk management
Trojan, Jakub ; Krejčí, Tomáš ; Taraba, P.
The paper is focused on presenting the theoretical and methodological basis shaping the methodology of anticipation of risk in the field of brownfields management. It analyzes the findings of already completed international projects under the 7th Framework Programme (especially the prioritization tool for development of brownfields) as well as results and proposals from completed projects of applied research in the field of brownfields. It also focuses on description of basic layout of proposed project from the field of risk anticipation in the brownfield management (TAČR, Omega, TD03000089).
Brownfields and Tourism Development - Visitors´ Preferences Exampled on Brno City
Krejčí, Tomáš ; Martinát, Stanislav ; Klusáček, Petr ; Tocháčková, K.
The article deals with issue of brownfields regeneration with special attention to brownfields redevelopment in tourism and leisure time activities. With connection to the theoretical discussion, there are presented the results of the field research with visit ors of the selected case study areas located on the territory pf Brno City (Czech Republic). The objective of this questionnaire survey was to identify the answer to the question how the new brownfield use in for tourism is perceived among visitors and ide ntify potential of the different types of brownfields from visitors ’ perspective. The results show the strong support for future housing utilisation, because regeneration of abandoned and neglected locations for housing needs was discussed among the visit ors the most intensively.
Discussion about Energy Savings and Potential Threats of Energy Poverty at the Level of the Residental House (Case Study Lidická, Brno, Czech Republic)
Klusáček, Petr ; Krejčí, Tomáš ; Martinát, Stanislav
The contribution deals with issues of energy savings and energy poverty at the level of the residential house. The attention is focused on the process of searching of methods leading to energy savings and furthermore on the question, if some investments can create threats of energy poverty among some groups of actors. The results show that even public financial support for energy savings can cause at some conditions (rejection of financial support) serious financial problems and it can create further economic pressure on groups of actors who are potentially threatened by energy poverty.
Biology and habitat requirements of endangered ladybird spider Eresus moravicus (Araneae: Eresidae) in Czechia
KREJČÍ, Tomáš
The ladybird spider Eresus moravicus is one of our most endangered spiders. It is therefore necessary to know its habitat requirements and have at least basic knowledge of its biology to design an appropriate management to protect sites of its natural occurrence. Phytocenological analysis was made at each site and the outcomes were evaluated based on the Ellenberg´s indicator values. Also slope and exposure, litter layer and the quantity of rubbel were measured on the localities. Individuals were taken from burrows for the measurement of the prosoma length (investigation of the length of the life cycle). Exuviae were collected from the same burrows for measurement of the prosoma length. From these data the number of instars was determined. Prey remains were taken at most of those sites from 5?10 burrows and determined. Offsprings from several maternal burrows were taken, counted and weighted (research of fecundity of females). Weight of offsprings is important also in terms of their dispersion ability. The offsprings ability to balloon was investigated experimentally in laboratory conditions. The ladybird spider Eresus moravicus occurs in warm regions with high intensity of irradiation, mostly on the southern and southwestern slopes. Sites are characterized by poor herbaceous vegetation without trees and shrubs and by a thin layer of humus. Female lives for four years and the male for three years. The number of instars can reach to 13. Beetles (Coleoptera) are the most importent prey, the importent component of food are ants (Formicidae), too. Eresus moravicus has more offsprings than Eresus sandaliatus and Eresus kollari, more eggs in the cocoon than E. kollari and heavier offsprings than E. kollari and E. sandaliatus. In offsprings of E. moravicus and E. kollari pre-ballooning behavior of two types was observed: "tip-toe" behavior and "drop and swing" behavior.
Morphometric analysis of viviparous lizard (Zootoca vivipara) in the Czech republic
KREJČÍ, Tomáš
Zootoca vivipara is the smallest of four species of lizard occurring in the Czech Republic. For many species of lizards sexual dimorphism was found in different characters and their presence was predicted also in this species. Eight characters were measured: total body length, snout {--} vent length, tail length, head length, head width, number of ventral scales, number of femoral pores and number of lamellae under the fourth finger of hind leg. Analyzed specimens from collections of Prague National Museum came from two areas {--} Šumava and Děčínský Sněžník. Analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) for the Šumava area showed sexual dimorphism: males were larger in total body length, in tail length, in head length, in head width and had higher number of femoral pores than females. Females had higher number of ventral scales than males. Analysis of covariance for the Děčínský Sněžník area showed sexual dimorphism in total body length, in tail length, in head length and in head width. All these characters were higher in males. Females had higher number of ventral scales. Variability of some characters showed dependence on altitude. Significant dependence on altitude investigated by analysis of covariance was detected in specimens from the Šumava area in total body length, in tail length and head length: the values of all these characters decreased with increasing altitude. Head width exhibited significant dependence on altitude only in absolute values (ANOVA): the values decreased with increasing altitude. Specimens from the Děčínský Sněžník area exhibited significant dependence on altitude only in absolute values of body length, of head length and of head width. Analysis of covariance was not significant.
