The presence of the disappeared in the exile poetry of Juan Gelman
Kepková, Jana ; Housková, Anna (advisor) ; Poláková, Dora (referee)
This thesis explores the presence of desaparecidos in the exile poetry of Argentine poet Juan Gelman, specifically in his collection Open Letter (Carta abierta). The aim of the thesis is to show how the poet works with the image of his son, who disappeared during the Argentine dictatorship between 1976 and 1983. In doing so, the close connection between Juan Gelman's autobiographical experiences and his poetry is considered. Because the poet wrote Open Letter in exile, the thesis places this collection in a typological context with exile poetry in general. In the interpretation of individual poems, emphasis is placed on Gelman's experimental language techniques and recurring motifs related to his son's disappearance, as well as the love and pain of the father. Special attention is also paid to the theme of memory. This thesis shows that Gelman's poetry prevents the forgetting of the crimes committed during the military dictatorship and reminds us why the struggle for humanity and justice must continue.
Definition of new referential values of maximum inspiratory and expiratory pressures and P0.1 values in normal population aged 14 - 15 years
Kepková, Jana ; Šulc, Jan (advisor) ; Koudelková, Alena (referee)
The aim of this study is definition reference values including reference equations for parameters PImax, PEmax and P0.1 of the normal Czech population aged 14-15 years. 102 subjects were examined for this purpose (55 boys and 47 girls). Except the reference values for boys and girls, this work includes correlations of mouth pressures with anthropometric data and also with other spirometric parameters. In case of boys were found a significant correlation of PEmax parameter with weight, BMI and PEF. In group of boys we also found a correlation of PImax with BMI and PImax with IC. Parameter P0.1 correlates only with VT. In group of girls we found a significant correlations of PImax, PEmax and P0.1 with PEF and MEF25.

Effect of jumping training on the postural functions of the spine
KEPKOVÁ, Jana
For my bachelor thesis I chose the theme ?The Effect of Jumping Exercise on Postural Functions of the Spine.? Jumping is safe and gentle aerobic exercise on mini trampolines, which has beneficial effect on virtually all systems of the human body. Speaking about the deep stabilization system, we mean muscle interplay mm.multifidi, diaphragm, pelvic floor and abdominal muscles, which together regulate intra-abdominal pressure. This muscular interplay which ensures stabilization of the spine is activated throughout all movements. Its dysfunction is one of the most significant factors causing back pain. The jumping exercise strengthens these important muscles and improves the overall stability of the body. The objective of the research was to assess the deep stabilization system with respect to kinesiology and kinesiotherapy and to find out whether and how the jumping exercise influences the postural functions of the spine. The data for the thesis were collected by means of qualitative research, by the method of case study and the technique of personal case study. The examination of probands includes a brief history, palpation and visual examination, the examination of deep stabilizing system by functional tests and then also the testing by L.A.S.A.R posture device. Based on the comparison of the initial examination and the final examination, which followed after 10 weeks of jumping exercise, a previously set research question was answered. The thesis involves the theoretical part, which describes the jumping exercise, anatomy, examination of the deep stabilization system and its importance for our body. The practical part involves objectives of the thesis, research questions, the description of methodology, discussions with the authors from which I drew information and primarily, processed results in the form of case reports. The research results show that there were clear positive effects of the deep stabilization system and other structures in all probands. On the jumping lessons the probands were regularly forced to activate the muscles of the deep stabilization system, which resulted in reduction of back pains, in reduction of knee pain in one case and the overall stability of the body improved. The results of the thesis could be used in therapeutic procedures of physiotherapists, for the purposes of further research, in teaching and also in the implementation of more efficient jumping lesson, etc.
Confrontation of selected pupils risk behaviour at Elementary school and Practical Elementary school in Rapšach
KEPKOVÁ, Jana
For my bachelor thesis I chose the topic ?The Comparison of Selected Risk Behaviour of Elementary School Pupils in the Elementary School and Elementary Practical School in Rapšach?. Risk behaviour is not a problem of the Czech Republic or Europe only, but it is a global problem. As its result, there are disruptions of the normal development of individuals in various areas of human life. If risk behaviour develops at an early age, its consequences may be even more serious and they may affect the individual?s upcoming life. Risk behaviour affects both the biological and psychological sides as well as the social side. In spite of that, the age at which an individual engages in risky behaviour decreases. Data for this work was collected on the basis of quantitative research, the method of questioning and the technique of an anonymous questionnaire. On the basis of the data, previously established hypotheses were verified or falsified. The respondents were interviewed in the presence of an administrator at school, but with the exclusion of their teachers or other similar authorities close to them who could affect the validity of the collected data. The thesis includes a theoretical part, which further describes the selected types of risk behaviour, the statistical evaluation of their occurrence and also the characteristics of the period of life, in which the respondents are. The practical part sets the objectives, it describes the course of the actual research and also discusses with the authors from which I drew. The objective of the research was to map the occurrence of selected types of risk behaviour among the pupils in the second half of their education at the Elementary School and Elementary Practical School in Rapšach and then to compare the obtained data with each other. The research shows that a certain type of risk behaviour is more typical for boys and another for girls, as well as some phenomena are increasingly encountered in the Elementary School and others at the Elementary Practical School. It is, however, not exceptional that certain phenomena occur in almost comparable representation in all of the respondents. The results of the thesis can be used in practice for the needs of additional research, education, implementing more effective programmes of primary prevention, for school prevention needs, and for the creation of minimum prevention programmes, etc.
