Design of an engraving LED laser

This thesis is focused on the search of unconventional machining methods, especially on the technology of laser beam machining. It deals with the area of laser cutting and engraving and examines the influence of individual technological parameters on the given process. Furthermore, there is proposal of design of hobby LED engraving machine, its supporting structure, HW and other electronic components. The prototype of the device is physically assembled and its functionality is verified in the form of several engraving tests of raster and vector formats of graphic materials, and some several shape cuts are made also. The technical evaluation of the assembled equipment, evaluation of tests performed and cost calculation is part of the work too.

Performer & Law

This bachelor’s thesis “Performer and Law” should serve as a legal guide for all the performers who get in touch with law in many different situations, often while even not knowing it. Individual sections deal with topics such as copyright law – authors’ rights and related rights, tax law and social security law.
Step by step the text describes the situations that performer could be involved in due to his or her activity, all the rights and duties steaming from these situations and procedure to exercise those rights or performs those duties.
The author’s aim is to familiarize people, who haven’t ever handled with law, with this huge phenomenon. Therefore, there is a comprehensible language used in this thesis, instead of that used in professional legal literature.

Piano Preludes by A.N. Scriabin

This work focuses on describtion and analysis of Preludes by A.N.Scriabin. During his life, Scriabin composed 90 preludes. These pieces can be divided in 3 periods - early, middle and late period.
The differences between these periods of time are connected to a transition from being a composer to being a philosopher. The development of his philosophical thoughts are described in a chapter called Composer - Philosopher. In chapter three, I concentrate on the influence by F. Chopin in Scriabins early years. I also compare their 24 preludes.
The further development of harmony and motive structure is discussed in the last chapter. An analysis of his last composition - 5 preludes op. 74, is included.
Analysis of Scriabins preludes is influenced by my personal experience - in that I see the biggest contribution of my thesis.

Piano Concerto by Antonín Dvořák

The main goal of this thesis the introductiom to the czech romantic piano literature. The first part contains a brief introduction to the origins and analysis from the musical perspective. In chapter two I concentrate on the technical and phonic parameters of the work. Apart from Dvorak's solo piano excerpts, one can take notice of excerpts from the revided version done by Vilem Kurz - and confrontation of both. There are 4 groups in which the main differences between the two versions are divided. The last chapter contains a summary of performance experience by interviews with famous pianists - Ivan Klansky, Martin Kasik and Ivo Kahanek.

Francis Poulenc - Piano work

My bachelor’s thesis titled "Francis Poulenc - piano work" is divided into
three main chapters. The first chapter focuses on the composer's life in the
contemporary context. The project also covers mention artistic tendencies in
France during the 20th century and the associated art group Les Six . The second
chapter briefly describes Poulenc's piano language, its expressive and technical
resources. I deal mainly with individual works, their history, complements the
Czech translation of French titles at the complex. For some enclose a
recommendation for the degree of maturity of the piano are determined. In the
third chapter, I mention a chronological overview of solo, chamber and orchestral
piano works . Using this job, I would like to draw attention to the piano works of
Francis Poulenc , which is not broached in concert programs on Czech stages.

S. Prokofjev: Etudes op. 2 - Issues of piano interpretation

My thesis is focused on the interpretation of the piano Etude op. 2 by S. Prokofjev and its issues. There are also the aspects of technical and creativeness. The first part presents an introduction to the Russsian musical world in the 19th century and a biography of S. Prokofjev including interesting facts about his life style. In the second part, there is an analysis of all etudes with notated examples for clearer demonstration.
