The implemetation strategies of South Tyrol on tourism market

The aim of this thesis is to complete an analysis of the tourism of South Tyrol and compare the tourism of South Tyrol with the tourism of the destination Czech Republic. As a result of the previous comparison there will be suggestions which could lead to an increase of the whole system of tourism in the Czech Republic, which has a lot of problems with making use of the whole potential that possesses. The thesis has been divided into five chapters. In the first one is defined the strategic management along with the destination management and marketing. Second chapter focuses on Italy and third chapter briefly presents South Tyrol. The fourth chapter is dedicated to tourism of South Tyrol. In the end of this chapter there is detailed analysis of the tourist infrastructure in South Tyrol, which is based mainly on my experience and observations. The object of final fifth chapter is to compare the Czech Republic and South Tyrol from the point of view of the tourist infrastructure and marketing and then create the suggestions for improvements of tourism in the Czech Republic.
Evaluation of a tourism services range provided for free and its implications

The aim of this diploma thesis is to create a certain overview of tourism services provided currently for free. The theoretical part enlightens the theory of price, its marketing mix functions, price tactics, strategies and its impact on a company image. Furthermore, the benefits of tourism are described as well as the satellite travel account and the unofficial account of WTTC. In connection with this the multiplying effect, grey and shared economy are introduced. In the practical part an overview of services provided for free is created and the implications are also stated. Those were found out via academic studies, interviews and e-mail communication with respondents. The result of this thesis is a summary of implications connected with each type of free tourism services.
Current senior as a participant in tourism

The aim of this bachelor s thesis is to chart the current behaviour, wishes and requirements of the elderly segment within the tourism sector, which could be a great competitive advantage for the companies in the tourism market, especially due to contemporary population aging. The first chapter of this bachelor s thesis clarifies certain specific terms whose specification and subsequent understanding is very important for the fulfillment of the set objectives. The second chapter is already about seniors of 21st century. Mainly about their specific requirements and behaviour not just in the tourism sector but also in their everyday life. The component of this chapter is also clarification of the significantly changing population s age structure which relates to the growth of the senior population. The third part of this thesis includes characteristic of chosen projects and products for seniors in the tourism sector. Apart from the projects, which encourage seniors to travel and products of tour operators, this chapter also deals with the roadshows for seniors. The final chapter is dedicated to questionnaire whose results help particularly tour operators, travel agencies and hotels for which is the knowledge of the preferences of Czech seniors in traveling most important.
Traditions and religious holidays in relation to tourism (focused on Spain)

This bachelor thesis is focused on how traditions and religious holidays influence tourism in some regions. It defines tourism in general, while additionally focusing on Spain specifically. The thesis also analyses the development of incoming and domestic tourism in the region so far. It also analyzes the number of visits to some given cities during these festivals (both traditional and religious) and examines if there is any potential relationship between them. Lastly, it evaluates the importance, attractiveness, and potential of these celebrations and ceremonies for tourism.
Monitoring of cycle tourism on a selected section of the Elbe route

The diploma thesis is focused on monitoring of cycle tourism on a selected section of the Elbe route between the cities of Prague and Roudnice nad Labem. The main goal of the thesis is to analyse current situation on this selected section of the route and to find out about its economic benefits. The theoretical part consists of explanation of the basic cycling terminology and the subjects supporting the cycle tourism are also presented there. Additionally prospective possibilities of funding are introduced there. The last two chapters of the theoretical part are focused on monitoring of the cyclists and the product of the Elbe route. The practical part analyses the selected section of the Elbe route.
Consumer basket of cycling tourists in the Czech Republic

The thesis Consumer basket of cycling tourists in the Czech Republic deals with the creation of the consumer basket, which includes common expenses of cycling tourists during their cycling holidays and cycling trips in the Czech Republic. As part of the work was carried out a survey among Czech cycling tourists, whose results are analysed in the work.
Economic Impact Evaluation of tourism ativities in Kadan

The master thesis is focused on evaluation of economic benefits that are generated by tourism activities in the destination Kadaň. The evaluation uses methodological framework of the tourism satellite account regionalization and local survey. Main attention is focused on quantifying the impacts on regional employment and business environment. The conclusion is based on the theory of destination lifecycle.
Trends in the shopping tourism

The Bachelor thesis defines the shopping tourism and subdivides it into forms and types. It deals with the factors influencing shopping as a motivation for travel and determines preconditions for the development of shopping tourism. The thesis deals with expenditures of participants in tourism and the significance of shopping in the destinations. The final part of the thesis analyses incoming shopping tourism in the Czech Republic. The last chapters are about the contribution of shopping tourism and its future development.
Importance of volunteerism as a possibility of help for heritage of Czech Republic

The goal of this thesis is to determine how important is volunteer work on cultural heritage for its owners. Importance of this work was determined by comparison of two groups of workers, volunteers and ordinary employee. I have compared their costs, efficiency and i have also observe possible alternative impacts of volunteer work. While processing this topic I take in account value of cultural heritage for tourism. I concluded, that volunteer work can be regarded as important help for owners of cultural heritage of Czech Republic, in terms of finance and also it has possitive effects on its promotion.
Safety concerns by using services in the Couchsurfing community

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate safety concerns in the Couchsurfing community and to find out whether enable sufficient protection for guests, as well as for hosts. The theoretical part focuses on lodging industry, its history, evolution, new trends and it classifies lodging establishments. Further, this section also describes Cocuhsurfing community with emphasis of safety features. The bachelor thesis involves practical part consists of the comparative method and observation method with follow-up experiment. In the practical part are compared several categories of lodging establishments with others websites offering private accommodation. The main focus of the work is experiment, whose role is to verify website security in the Couchsurfing community. The goal is to warn of vulnerability and ensure general awareness.
