There are methods such as technology of drilling, boring and description of tools for drilling large diameters described in practical part. Experimental part includes comparison of a tool from a company SV Olšovec and a tool from rival D’Andrea´s company, cutting inserts used and comparison of technological possibilities particular machines.
Machining Design of Tube Sheet and Buffers
Poduška, Libor ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
Working with the creation of a 3D model of the heat exchanger and design of production of its main components, such as tube sheet and buffers. The work also contains a general search of the area of heat exchanger design solutions, but also generally discusses fundamentals of metal cutting namely drilling and turning. To create 3D model was used parametric Autodesk Inventor 2010. After designing the production tube sheet and buffers was written technological process. Subsequently was processed NC program for basic drilling operations using PowerMill CAM program and workshop programming Heidenhain TNC 530. The resulting values were compared. In CAM program PowerMill was designed to the complete production tube sheet on a three-axis milling machine.
Production of gearbox components
Jakubec, Thomas ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the production of a gear pair for the single speed gearbox. The projected piece production contains the making of the pinion gear; driven shaft and gear wheel. Initially the desired material and the gearbox and gears design are projected. Secondly the calculation of gearing is mathematically proven and the appropriate machining modality including measuring devices is selected. Thirdly the manufacturing procedures of each gearbox parts are optimized and the manufacturing manual is written. Finally the realization of the function unit production is documented
Solution production of a component to mould
Veselý, Vladimír ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This thesis describes creation of a packaging component made of ABS-TPU material. It is being made by vacuum shaping technology on a negative form. Bosch Diesel s.r.o. Jihlava company is introduced in the first part and a brief summary of the most commonly used packagings follows. The next part shows the very first draft of packaging shape and also how customers and the manufacturer implement some final changes. Next part describes the process of making a form and the packaging fabric. Finally there is aneconomical evaluation in the last part.
Application of CAD/CAM technology for design and manufacture of a prototype of pitman front wheel
Bardoň, Václav ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with design and manufacture of a prototype of pitman front right wheel of student's formula Dragon 4 of a team TU Brno Racing with use of advanced CAD/CAM technology. Opening part of the thesis deals with the theoretical analysis of milling technology. Furthermore, there is an analysis of aluminum alloys, which aims to integrate the material being machined CERTAL. In the practical part of the work the construction of pitman is done using CAD software SolidWorks 2012 and proposal of milling strategies is done using software PowerMILL CAM 10. The following is the realization of manufacture in CNC machining center MCV 754 QUICK at Bosch Diesel Ltd, in Jihlava. Techno-economic evaluation of the manufacture is done in conclusion.
Factors affecting the quality of machined surfaces after milling operation
Černý, Libor ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Fiala, Zdeněk (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the final quality of the surface under variable working conditions during milling. The first part deals with the definition of qualitative parameters describing surface properties. This is followed by a brief description of the cutting resistance measurements. The thesis is complemented by experimental verification using front milling and its evaluation. The aim of the experiment is to determine the dependence of the surface quality and the size of cutting resistors under the variable working conditions of the machine that do not make a common part of the manufacturing processes.
New Milling HSS Cutters for Roughing Operations
Jaroš, Aleš ; Janáč, Alexander (referee) ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
Dissertation thesis is focused on development, design and production of the new milling cutter which is used for roughing operations. High-speed steels, coating technology and milling technology are described in first chapters of dissertation thesis. The main part of this thesis is the design of the new milling cutter that has been designed on the basis of the machining simulation. The milling cutter is designed as a three-flute cylindrical end mill made of high speed steel. The each flute is composed of two special compensation edges. The compensation edges are used for reducing (at best suppression) tensile stress in the heel of the tooth. The milling cutter was made by lost wax technology, followed by grinding and thermal treatment. New designed tools were deposited by PVD coatings (e.g. (Al,Ti)N). Standard catalog milling cutters (producer ZPS - milling tools, Zlín, Czech Republic) were used for comparison the designed milling cutter. Carbon steel CSN 41 2050 (DIN 1.1191) was used for milling, which was carried out with using process liquid. The monitored parameters were force loading, flank wear and tensile stress during milling. The dynamometer Kistler was used for measuring force loading and data obtained during machining was used for stress analysis.
