Ground Plan Types of Farmsteads with Ethnic Marks in Village of Lysolaje.

Ján Čonka, BZK 2019 Abstract (In English) The bachelor thesis represents folk architecture for the benefit of the Czechoslovak ethnographic society; therefore, the work works with the ground plan type of the house in the village of Lysolaje. With a sign of ethnicity to the farm. Based on the study Prazak, Vilem: Towards the foundation of ground plan types of folk buildings in Czechoslovakia. The shed house off the rooms with the shed and the chamber-type house next to the room. With this type of ground plan, it is possible to distinguish the ground plans for the German house identification house and the Czech chamber type house identification. Another dimension of the thesis is the analysis of ethnicity in terms of social and cultural anthropology, the Czechoslovak ethnographic society and ethnicity in folk architecture. Historically, the development of Lysolaj describes the history of farm. The archive source represents material that already existed in the research of folk architecture in the village. Methodological side works with the method deduction and induction, verifies the theoretical statement of Prazak Viliam.

Crime and turbofolk as a cover to autocracy? Nationalism in Serbia at the end of the 20th century Abstract: In this MA. thesis it will be investigated how, by the influence of the politics of Milosevic in the 1990s, implemented by the political elite gathered around him, a rise of crime, war profiteering and the development of a new popular culture genre of turbofolk appeared in Serbia. Such socio-political conditions, supported by a strong media propaganda by the regime, turned out to be the key pillars of Milosevic's autocratic rule. Special emphasis will be given to a new cultural phenomenon that struck this region in the period - the phenomenon of "turbofolk" as the dominant music genre of the time, that completes the picture of Serbian society during the 1990s. Overwhelmed with elements of kitsch and baroque, this popular music genre which originated in the restaurants of central Serbia suburbs, has become an unavoidable part of everyday life of young people, whose new idols were individuals who measured their success by the number and importance of their criminal ventures. The emergence of turbofolk, therefore, is considered in light of the birth of the new socio-political circumstances. The collective memory of the forcibly ejected inhabitants: The oral history about the 2nd World War from Neveklov and its neighbourhoods

This Dissertation is the benefit to studying of the questions of the oral history of forcibly ejected inhabitants of Neveklov and its neighbourhoods during the 2nd World War. About this region, there exists authentic testimony and this territory is fixed in the collective memory. The oral history is a highly valued literary source. Its value is in the authenticity, which is characterized by selectivity and represents another point of view. The essay brings the unique opportunity to get acquainted with witnesses of the wartime. At present this testimony is unknown or is being forgotten in the offical documents. The essay follows the researches of Jaromír Jech from the middle of the last century. If we compare the results of both researches, we get the view of the importance of forcible displacement of Czech inhabitants in a demarcated region. Result of this work is the analysis of the results obtained with the help of the modern approaches that are based on the method of the oral history, which is a part of the qualitative research, with an emphasis on general objectives and context. Presentation of the Jewish culture in Třebíč in context of the European Jewish museums: analysis and proposal of the education trail

This B.A. thesis is a critical analysis of the popularization of Jewish culture in Třebíč. It is focused on the expositions and on other Jewish-themed educational and cultural program organized by the civic culural center of Třebíč (Městské kulturní středisko). The chosen aspects of presentation strategy are analysed and compared to the up to date trends of the European Jewish museums and to their critiques in the scholarly journals. The theoretical part of the thesis is followed by the practical part, devoted to a proposal of the educational trail on the Jewish cemetery as an extension of the Třebíč's educational activities. Internet humour as annihilator of political authority

1 The main aim of this Bachelor thesis is to document, analyse and interpret manifestations of Internet humour dealing with negatively perceived historical and current political personalities. Dominant emphasis will be put on the phenomenon of Internet memes with the focus on two asymmetric politicians - Adolf Hitler (historical personality) and Kim Jong-un (current personality). Attention will be paid also to other personalities satirized in a similar manner as well as to specific features of this original way of a collective signifying of generally recognized media facts. Thesis is based on theoretical assumptions of digital folklore and psychological theories of humor.
Village Lysolaje

The thesis analyses the ethnic identity of economic farmhouses in the village Lysolaje. The work is divided into three parts. The first part of research folk architecture from 1952 to 1953 called "description research" on folk culture 50s of the last century, the Ethnographic Society of Czechoslovakia. The second part of the material presents a historical evolution from inception. Describes farmhouses, work, old road administration's Ruzyne magistrate, statistics and modern-day attractions Lysolaje. Archival sources from the National Heritage Institute, building condition survey in 1952 and also from the 80s of the last century Lysolaje. Motif of name taboo in Czech verbal folklore

Bachelor thesis is focused on motif of the name taboo in Czech prosaic folklore. The objective of this work is to make a comprehensive description of the motif and its forms in Czech folklore and its introduction into the context of European folklore. For this purpose it uses mainly folklore indexes and collections of folktales and legends. It consists of five parts. The first part describes phenomen of the name taboo as it was recorded and conceptualized in anthropological researches conducted in many different societies around the world. The second part describes how international folklore indexes work with the motif of name taboo. The third part introduces into the issue of taboo words in the Czech context. The fourth and most extensive part of the work is focused on specific characters who appear in Czech folk narratives and whose names are taboo. These beings are classified into four categories - demonic characters, animals, humans and God. The last part, the conclusion, summarizes collected information about the phenomen, describes similarities and differences between the different motif forms and between the characters themselves and their behavior.
The issue of the Czech tramping in settlements and camps

(in English): One of the issues of the phenomenon of tramping is the relationship to landscape, nature and the prehention in his own image. The basic substance of this activity is primarily spending time in nature, in the woods, outside the city. This spending free time in nature currently take place in tramping in two main planes. The first plane is the free camping, sometimes called tenting, the second plane is settlements (being on the tramp settlement)1. These two planes of tramping are still current, and between the tramps very popular. Each of these imaginary ways has passed its cultural-historical development and in the current time has already each of this way own original style. As well as the tramps, who is inclined either to the plane of wild camping, or are permanent residents of tramps settlements. The Slovacko Verbunk Between Folklore and Folklorism

The thesis is focused on a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon of the Slovácko verbuňk, a folk solo dance performed by men, originally recruits. The thesis aims at mapping both the current and historical forms of the Slovácko verbuňk, including a description of its original forms and functions. The thesis's main topic is the current form of the dance and its functions presented within the modern-day phenomenon of the Best Slovácko verbuňk dancer contest held as part of the Strážnice International Folklore Festival. Emphasis is put on the historical development of the competition from the beginning to these days, including its partial aspects, such as regional rounds or preparations of the contestants. The thesis relies on written and audio-visual sources and mainly interviews with the involved people - Slovácko verbuňk dancers and members of the contest jury. Attention is also paid to the inscription of the Slovácko verbuňk on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The thesis intends to describe the phenomenon of the Slovácko verbuňk in both the original form of the dance and in the form presented during the contest, largely different from the original.
