The views of lay public on alternative medicine

Bachelor thesis deals with alternative medicine, their positive and negative ones. The thesis has two parts, theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part is based on the description of selected alternative treatments - acupressure, acupuncture, phytotherapy, biotherapy, psychotronics, homeopathy, chiropractic, aromatherapy, chiropractic and phototherapy. In recent years, we have heard more about alternative medicine and it is becoming more and more popular. Alternative medicine represents a significant part of human health care, but it does not have any rules or controls. Medical societies are not confronted with the problem unambiguously. The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the opinions of the lay public on alternative medicine. Partial goal # 1 is to map out whether individual types of alternative medicine are in the public eye. Another objective, ie goal 2, is to map out whether alternative medicine is being used, or what methods and the difficulties (determining the treatment phase). A non-standardized questionnaire was selected for the elaboration of the individual objectives, which was applied through the website www.vyplto.cz.
