Game Web Portal - Object-oriented Programming
Hůla, Vladimír ; Galáž, Zoltán (referee) ; Povoda, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of programming structure of game web portal. The web portal will serve as a communication and information center to simplify coordination among players and allow them to gain new experience. In the thesis are analyzed the needs of players, existing solutions and their drawbacks. The results of this analysis are used to design individual functions of the portal. Implementation of the most important parts of the website has been described, the implementation of these parts were evaluated and some enhancemets were eventually suggested. In the end of this thesis several functionalities were suggested, which could extend the portal in the future.
Modular system for the www and mobile devices
Hůla, Vladimír ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Holek, Radovan (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is to explore web application development tools. From those tools then choose suitable tools for development of modular content management system, design its data model, make system analysis and then implement designed content management system. Nette framework has been chosen as suitable framework for making core of whole application. Doctrine framework has been chosen as database service and Twitter Bootstrap for creation of responsive layout. Designed modules of content management system are gallery, message module, surveys module and event module.
The impact of uncut strips on the hay meadows to spider communities
Rothová, Helena ; Šípek, Petr (advisor) ; Hula, Vladimír (referee)
Until recently, the importance of grasslands in supporting biodiversity in Central Europe has been overlooked. It is only recently that the view that attention needs to be paid to this topic has become more prevalent. Grassland habitats are the most biodiverse places and many organisms have adapted to their traditional management. The post-war intensification of agriculture, associated with the intensive use of fertilizers, pesticides, large-scale mowing and the general homogenisation of production communities, has had a negative impact on overall biodiversity. The main causes of arthropod mortality include use of chemicals, mechanical destruction, resource and habitat loss. The European Union has therefore introduced a set of so-called agri-environmental-climatic measures (AEKO) to promote biodiversity in agroecosystems. Unfortunately, the partly erroneous and overly technocratic conditions of these measures have often caused them to be ineffective or even counterproductive. There is also a lack of knowledge about the impact of the measures on local communities. At the instigation of the Agency for Nature Conservation of the Czech Republic (AOPK ČR) and the company Envipor s.r.o., we tested the effect of unmown strips on different arthropod groups on 22 production meadows in the vicinity of the...
Divergence and variability of genus Euscorpius in Europe
Novotný, Tomáš ; Šťáhlavský, František (advisor) ; Hula, Vladimír (referee)
This Bachelor of Science thesis summarizes current knowledge about the species diversity and distribution of European scorpions of the genus Euscorpius. In this area it is the most species-rich genus of scorpions with significant additions to the total number of recognized species during the past decade from five species in 1999 to 17 species nowadays. This is primarily due to the use of molecular characters (especially the analysis of mitochondrial 16S RNA gene), allowing a better understanding of the variability of some morphological and morphometric characters. This work summarizes historical concepts of species variation and the use of the different types of characters in the genus Euscorpius. The distribution of the species currently recognized is described together with known factors that may affect it. The distribution of scorpions in the Czech Republic is included as a special chapter. Some species are suspected to have been accidentally introduced into new regions of Europe, of which the best example is E. tergestinus which has been introduced into Bohemia.

Výzkum ekologie a rozšíření‚ návrh managementu populací a záchranných programů zvláště chráněných druhů živočichů: Záchranný program hnědáska chrastavcového (Euphydryas aurinia) v České republice

Hnědásek chrastavcový (Euphydryas aurinia) patří k nejohroženějším druhům denních motýlů střední a západní Evropy. Důslednou ochranu hnědáska vyžadují mezinárodně závazné dohody a normy, především Bernská konvence a Směrnice o stanovištích EEC/EU.
