Building a company for IT service

This document describes part of the proces of building a company for IT services, mainly focusing on schools and small companies, as well as web construction, graphical design and SEO optimization. The area of coverage is Prague and neighbourhooding areas. These are largely occupied by competitive companies. However, the aim of this work is to discover opportunities on the market and to establish a competitive image for the company. The goal is to create a webpage with a thorough optimization for Internet search engines (SEO) and ergonomic optimization for the users alike.
Web application for supporting the safety inspection on the TEN-T road network

This bachelor thesis devotes itself to a web application called CEBASS. The purpose of this application is to display results of the safety inspection on the TEN-T road network and to track adjustments on identified hazards on roads. The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to present how the functionality of this application contributes to the process of eliminating road hazards. In the theoretical part of this bachelor thesis the term safety inspection is clarified and web portals currently used by the Road and Motorway Directorate of the Czech Republic are presented. The second practical part is focused on the origin, development and functions of this application. The conclusion addresses future extensions of this application and suggests improvements
Implementation of Google Tag Manager

The aim of this thesis is to explain advantages of using Tag Management systems on webpages. This thesis compares different systems and advantages and disadvantages of their functionality and usability. Based on this comparison reasons for popularity of Google Tag Manager are found and its implementation is shown. It is used in praxis to implement different tracking, remarketing and other codes, which can be used by a website operator to implement these codes without changing the source code of the website itself. The thesis contains complete implementation of Google Analytics tracking code and Google Ad-words remarketing code in Google Tag Manager. The example of implementation and settings of this system is done to benefit a real Internet business.
Redesign of company websites using HTML5 and CSS3 language

The goal of this thesis is to create a completely new version of the company websites with the removal of the shortcomings identified in the original version via questionnaire. These new websites should attract more new customers which will increase awareness of the company. HTML and CSS languages with new accepted elements and properties are described at the beginning of this work so that reader could understand their usage in the practical part of the thesis. Description of the redesign process of the webpages is covered in the next section. It is described as I proceed during the design of webpages. Webpages were created in two versions -- according to older HTML 4.01 and CSS2 standards and new HTML5 and CSS3 standards so that reader can find out process of creation webpages in the past and in these days and find out an offer of new possibilities of new standards. Description of the site structure is on the following pages with technical solution of chosen webpages. Analysis of competition is next described part of thesis in which I examine strengths and weaknesses of competitors according to predefined criteria. I focused on description of advertising campaign created in Google Adwords enabling webpages appear in the top positions in Google search engine in the last chapter. It can bring more new visitors. Better natural position in search engines was reached by using right SEO practices.
RSS reader application for iOS

The aim of this thesis is to develop an iOS application, an RSS reader mobile application with some social aspects and it's publication on the App Store. This thesis can also serve as inspiration when creating similar applications for iOS devices and enclosed source code can also serve as a practical study material. There are two parts of this thesis - the theoretical part and the practical part. In the theoretical part, the reader is provided with an overview of mobile development and mobile platforms. Moreover, there are mentioned new features of iOS 8, things needed for iOS development, a brief overview of Objective-C and Swift programming languages and web syndication and RSS & Atom formats characterized. In the practical part, there is the development of the RSS reader application which is based on using Feedly cloud services. Next there is a description of the features and functionality, the user interface, some topics of implementation are tackled and there is a list of third party libraries that are used in the application. Some marketing strategies and support is described in the last few pharagraphs of this part of the thesis.
Analysis of websites' responsive design

The thesis is about current technologies and optimalization used in developing responsive websites. It summarizes current state and gives small prediction where the future of responsive design is going. This is analysed on 4 news websites ihned.cz, novinky.cz, blesk.cz, extra.cz which are analysed from point of view of areas, which have major influence on user's surfing experience. Websites are compared to each other using criteria, which correspond to each of those areas. Thesis also proposes a solution to each of the bigger mistakes, which each website makes. Those mistakes are in the coclusion put in context of other websites and used to reach a general recommendation, which solutions correct them and are therefore suitable to use in development of any responsive websites in the future.
Development of optimized website on platform ASP.NET

Bachelor thesis Development of optimized website on platform ASP.NET applies current trends in SEO optimization, web accessibility and security. This issue together with basic principles of ASP.NET platform architecture is presented and dismantled in theoretical part, which also include best practices of outlined common problems. The practical part is based on procedures described in theoretical part and transforms them into practice by demonstrative implementation of website and web application of attendance register. In this part of thesis are also dealt common requests on websites by ASP.NET technology. The secondary outcomes of this work are reusable user components, which represents the optional solution and which are also easily modifiable and reusable in another projects.
