Prosecco - historie a současnost italského šumivého vína

The bachelor thesies is focusing on italian sparkling wine Prosecco, which is recently getting higher and higher popularity. Its production and distribution rises therefore it is able to compare with other popular sparkling wine. For example spanish cava or french champagne. Here is presented its history, area and geographic conditions. The varieties which Prosecco is made of, and mostly manufacturing process are mentioned For completely summary inclousion into the apelation system of Italy and the most famous and known producers are also included. Since Italy is the country of wine, the other sparkling wines, which are produced in Italy, are also described. There are differeces between used technology and varieties intended for production.
