This master's thesis focuses on the definition of heterogeneous data in the life sciences. It is described how bio databases process such data and existing solutions available online are analyzed. Based on the performed analyzes, own solution is then designed and implemented. The created custom solution is published as an open-source JavaScript library named React Form Architect and offers components for custom assembly of the form, form display, and interpretation of tree-structured data. It can be used in modern web environments and is integrated into the universal discovery database (UniCatDB) project within the ELIXIR organization.

Vývoj hry typu arcade na bázi herního enginu

The goal of this thesis is to describe in detail the development of a videogame using selected gaming engine and then implement this game. Theoretical part of this thesis deals with comparison and selection of a suitable gaming engine. Practical part describes the processes involved in game desing, development and implementation. Implementation is done in C# programming language utilizing object-oriented design. The application model is described using UML diagrams. This thesis should provide anyone with sufficient theoretical knowledge for creating any games on a similar technological basis.

Saving of a Company Cost by Using a Shared Service Centre

The bachelor's thesis deals with benefits caused by transferring of supporting activities of a company to a shared services centre. The thesis closely looks into the costs of the Mann+Hummel Service, s.r.o. company, shared service centre of the Mann+Hummel Group corporation, and it subsequently evaluates the cost saving resulting from its application using mathematical modelling. Eventually the thesis deals with the future growth of the shared service centre and the cost saving that will come from this growth.
