Bachelor thesis called Media Image of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra in 1996 and 2016 is focused on an analysis and a comparison of the most important Czech orchestra’s media outcomes during two periods, in which 100th and 120th anniversary of the Czech Philharmonic were celebrated. The analyzed media are: Mladá fronta Dnes, the best-selling Czech broadsheet newspaper, and Hudební rozhledy, one of the most important Czech classical music magazines since 1948. This thesis should target, how the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra was presented in media and how it changed its media image.

O. F. Korte and his compositions for violin

This bachelor's thesis titled O. F. Korte and his compositions for violin is divided into four chapters. In the first two chapters, I introduce composer's life, compositional work and circumstances, which influenced him in his work and were inspiration for him. After, there are briefly described four compositions of his work. The second part of this bachelor's thesis describes compositions, composed for violin and piano. The first one is “Philosophical dialogues” and the second one is “Elihu contra Job”. In this compositions the reasons of origin in detail, their premieres and individual parts are being described. Penultimate chapter contains thematic motif analysis of all four movements of “Philosophical dialogues”.

EUGÈNE YSAŸE, FRITZ KREISLER: THE GREAT VIOLINISTS AND COMPOSERS

My thesis focuses on two significant artistic persons of the turn of the 19th and 20th century - Eugene Ysaÿe and Fritz Kreisler. The work represents two important violinists, who were outstanding composers as well. This is confirmed by their works, which notably enriched the violin music literature. The first half of the thesis is dedicated to the Belgian violinist and composer, Eugene Ysaÿe - whose work is an integral part of every violinist's repertoire nowadays - while the other half is dedicated to the life and work of Fritz Kreisler.

Bachelor thesis Yasushi Akutagawa - his life and work discusses the major Japanese composer and conductor of the 20th century, living in the years 1925-1989. The work deals with the various stages of the musician's life and shows how it shaped his creative profile from an early age through a period of compositional studies pertaining to the time of WWII, the first practical experience and traveling around the world to the period of his artistic peak.

Psychological attitude of teacher to students of primary art schools in teaching violin.

This diploma thesis is focused on the work of violin teachers at primary music schools from the perspective of a psychological influence on students. Possibilities available to teacher for psychological support of education and student´s development are examined.
Musical abilities and musical talent are studied with focus on possibilities of musical development of students.Then, teacher´s attitude to students and it´sdiffernt variants are described. It is emphasized the importance of concentration and attention, knowledge of motivation in each period of student´s studies, and good preparation for concert performances. Teacher should know about all possibilities of psychological field which can help him to teach students as well as to communicate with their parents.
Chapters on psychological process of teaching, its different types and possibilities of usinh it for violin teaching are listed at the end of this thesis.
