Italian immigration policy since 2001

The first chapter illustrates the short Italian immigration policy's history until 2001. Second chapter is dedicated to political trends in the 1990's and helps to understand the generation of new political subjects and a new form of political communication. Main targets and instruments of tightened immigration policy by centre-right governments are presented in the third chapter. The fourth chapter clarifies immigration policy's application in practice and the impact of the most important subjects and society's elements involved upon immigrants' position in Italian society and their insertion into the labour-market. The fifth chapter pays a special attention to immigration in Campania and to its regional policies and is focused on specific aspects of this region and a function of the third sector.

The problems of drug use in the Romany population

The work consists of two parts, theoretical and experimental. The theoretical part deals with the specialities of Romany ethnic minority, it concentrates on the mutual relations among Romanies and majority, present status of Romany community, current drug scene and care system of the drug dependents. The aim of my experimental work has been to look through the life of drug dependent Romanies, to upvalue their situatio, to map the spectrum of drug use and to reveal problems connected with drugs. I also wanted to investigate the possibilities of specific services for Romany drug users and tried to reveal the real causes of low use of current offer by dependent Romanies.

Chosen Latin America Countries` Approaches to the Economical Integration with the USA

Práca hodnotí prístupy štátov Latinskej Ameriky - Mexika, Chile, štátov Strednej Ameriky v zoskupení CAFTA-DR, Brazílie, Argentíny a Venezuely - podľa miery integrácie s USA, popisuje uzavreté bilaterálne dohody, vytvorené zoskupenia alebo dôvody na odmietanie integrácie. Približuje obchodnú politiku a jej vývoj, teritoriálnu a komoditnú štruktúru a vzťah jednotlivých štátov k USA. Štáty sú rozdelené do skupín podľa skúsenosti s integráciou s USA.
